The Kentucky Wildcats notched three of CollegeSwimming.com\u2019s top 40 female recruits for the class of 2016. <\/span><\/p>\n

Asia Seidt<\/b><\/p>\n

Seidt is the 15th ranked recruit nationally and the third ranked swimmer from the state of Kentucky. She specializes in backstroke and butterfly. <\/span><\/p>\n

Seidt\u2019s top times include a 53.06 in the 100-yard backstroke and a 53.72 in the 100-yard butterfly. She also swims a strong 200-yard individual medley, clocking in at 1:58.53. <\/span><\/p>\n

Alex Gayler<\/b><\/p>\n

A South Carolina native, Gayler is the 21st ranked recruit nationally and the second overall in her state. She will join her sister, Danielle, on the Wildcat team. <\/span><\/p>\n

Gayler will be a strong swimmer for Kentucky in both the 200-yard backstroke and 200-yard freestyle. In those events her best times are a 1:53.76 and 1:48.01, respectively. <\/span><\/p>\n

Madison Winstead<\/b><\/p>\n

The Wildcats gain another in-state recruit in Winstead. Ranked fourth in her state, Winstead is 39th nationally. <\/span><\/p>\n

Winstead will make an immediate impact on the Kentucky breaststroke group. She has top times of 1:01.65 in the 100-yard breaststroke and 2:13.19 in the 200-yard breaststroke.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
