For more information about Agon, visit their website\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.agonswim.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AgonSwim.com<\/a>.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>The North Dakota Girls High School State Championships took place this weekend in Bismarck, North Dakota at the Bismarck Aquatic Center.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lexi Ljunggren<\/strong> of GF Central finished first in the 200 free with a time of 1:51.45, adding slightly to her prelims time of 1:50.56. Bismarck&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Emma Hepper<\/strong> finished second with a time of 1:52.47, and West Fargo&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Hallie Peterson<\/strong> was third with a 1:53.43.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vanessa Herrman<\/strong> of Century blasted to the top of the podium in the 200 IM with a final time of 2:05.75, finishing 4.28 seconds ahead of the competition. Teammate\u00a0<strong>Abby\u00a0<\/strong><b>Bourgois\u00a0<\/b>finished second with a time of 2:10.03, while West Fargo&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Andie Peterson<\/strong> turned in a 2:11.28 for third.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Breah Anderson<\/strong> of Fargo North and\u00a0<strong>Lexi Doherty<\/strong> of GF Red River battled for first in the 50 free, finishing .10 seconds apart. Anderson got her hand to the wall first, stopping the clock at 23.48 over Doherty&#8217;s 23.58. Minot&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Emily Hamel<\/strong> rounded out the top three with a 23.84.<\/p>\n<p>The top three finishers in the 50 free were also the top three in the 100 free. Anderson grabbed her second win of the day with a final time of 51.71. Doherty took second with a 52.69, while Hamel finished a close third with a time of 52.76.<\/p>\n<p>The top three finishers in the 100 fly all posted final times under the one-minute mark. H. Peterson dashed ahead of the competition to stop the clock at 57.49. Fargo North&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Anna Astrup<\/strong> turned in a time of 59.30 for second, while Century&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Tess Sether<\/strong> was third with a 59.76.<\/p>\n<p>Ljunggren swept the competition in the 500 free being the only athlete under the five-minute mark with a final time of 4:57.98.\u00a0<strong>Jordan Danielson<\/strong> of GF Red River and Bourgois battled for second stopping the clock only .03 seconds apart. Danielson finished with a 5:16.29 over Bourgois&#8217; 5:16.32.<\/p>\n<p>The 100 back was a battle to the finish with Hepper and\u00a0<strong>Briana Rittenbach<\/strong> of Century stopping the clock .01 seconds apart. Hepper managed to edge out Rittenbach 57.54 to 57.55.<\/p>\n<p>Century teammates\u00a0<strong>Vanessa Herrmann<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Carly Palmer<\/strong> finished 1-2 in the 100 breast. Herrmann turned in a final time of 1:03.23 while Palmer was second with a 1:04.44. A.
