SCHEDULED EVENTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n Cammile Adams\u00a0<\/strong>of SwimMAC surged from behind to overtake Louisville’s\u00a0Kelsi Worrell\u00a0<\/strong>in the 200 fly during heat seven of prelims. Adams posted a final time of 2:09.59 to earn the first place seed, while Worrell turned in a time of 2:10.71 to return as second.<\/p>\n Hannah Saiz\u00a0<\/strong>of Schroeder YMCA Swim Team rounds out the top three with a 2:10.87. Trojan Swim Club’s\u00a0Haley Anderson\u00a0<\/strong>will return as the fourth place seed with a 2:!2.92.<\/p>\n Cal’s\u00a0Noemie Thomas\u00a0<\/strong>posted a time of 2:13.11, good for a fifth place seed in tonight’s A final. North Baltimore’s\u00a0Becca Mann<\/strong> returns as a close sixth with a prelims time of 2:13.17.<\/p>\n Iowa Flyer’s\u00a0Ruby Martin\u00a0<\/strong>will return as the seventh place seed with a 2:13.72, while Cal’s\u00a0Katie McLaughlin<\/strong> squeezes into the A final with a 2:13.91.<\/p>\n North Baltimore teammates C<\/strong>hase Kalisz\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Michael Phelps<\/strong> battled for the top seed in prelims of the 200 fly, but it was Kalisz who got his hand to the wall first. Kalisz stopped the clock at 1:59.86 just under the 2-minute mark, while Phelps delivered a final time of 2:00.40.<\/p>\n Corey Okubo<\/strong> finished third overall in prelims with a time of 2:01.46.<\/p>\n SwimMAC’s\u00a0Tyler Clary<\/strong>\u00a0will return as fourth with a narrow lead over\u00a0Mark Darragh<\/strong> of University of Missouri. Clary turned in a time of 2:01.62, while Darragh is seeded with a 2:01.65.<\/p>\n Dakota Hodgson\u00a0<\/strong>of Nashville Aquatic Club turned in a time of 2:01.79 to finish sixth overall in prelims.<\/p>\n Grant Shoults<\/strong> of Mission Viejo Nadadores (2:02.26) and\u00a0Michael Flach<\/strong> (2:02.51) return as the seventh and eighth place seeds for tonight’s finals.<\/p>\n Etiene Medeiros<\/strong> of SESI grabbed the first place seed with a sizzling 24.73, also lowering the pool record from it’s previous 25.04.\u00a0Simone Manuel<\/strong>, swimming unattached, finished second overall in prelims with a time of 24.85. Medeiros and Manuel were the only two athletes to swim under the 25-second mark.<\/p>\n Abbey Weitzeil\u00a0<\/strong>of CANY returns tonight as the third place seed with a 25.12, while\u00a0Ivy Martin<\/strong>, swimming unattached, posted a 25.30 for the fourth place seed.<\/p>\n Not long after a tight race in prelims of the 200 fly, Louisville’s\u00a0Kelsi Worrell<\/strong>\u00a0delivered a 25.31 for the fifth place seed.<\/p>\n Cal’s\u00a0Farida Osman<\/strong> finished sixth overall in prelims with a 25.48, while Ford Aquatics’\u00a0Margo Geer<\/strong> took seventh with a 25.52.<\/p>\n Amanda Kendall\u00a0<\/strong>of MAKO rounds out the top eight in the A final with a 25.53 seed time.<\/p>\n Nathan Adrian<\/strong> turned in a sizzling 22.39 to top the list of qualifiers for tonight’s A final.\u00a0Santo Condorelli<\/strong> put up a good fight, posting a time of 22.44 from the same heat.<\/p>\n Ford Aquatics’\u00a0Brad Tandy<\/strong>\u00a0rounds out the top three with a time of 22.66.<\/p>\n Marcelo Chierighini<\/strong>, swimming unattached, Geoff Cheah<\/strong>\u00a0Club Wolverine, and Elvis Burrows <\/strong>of Trinity Prep Aquatics\u00a0return with strikingly similar seed times for tonight’s final. Chierighini has a narrow lead at the fourth place seed with a 22.74, while Cheah and Burrows will return as fifth and sixth with a 22.76.<\/p>\n George Bovell<\/strong>, swimming unattached, delivered a time of 22.81 for the seventh place seed, while\u00a0Joao De Lucca<\/strong> of Cardinal Aquatics will return as eighth with a 22.83.<\/p>\n Kylie Masse<\/strong> of UTS leads the qualifiers returning tonight for the 100 back with a time of 1:00.49.\u00a0Missy Franklin<\/strong> of Colorado Stars returns as a close second with a 1:00.63, just over a second off her 2015 best of 59.40 from the World Championships in Kazan, Russia.<\/p>\n OAK’s\u00a0Dominique Bouchard<\/strong> delivers a time of 1:01.07 to round out the top three qualifiers for the A final.\u00a0Kirsty Coventry<\/strong> of SwimMAC sits at a close fourth with a time of 1:01.14.<\/p>\n Cal’s\u00a0Amy Bilquist\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Rachel Bootsma<\/strong> return as the fifth and sixth place seeds respectively, finishing .01 seconds apart in prelims. Bilquist has a slim lead with a 1:01.56 over Bootsma’s 1:01.57.<\/p>\n Stanford’s\u00a0Maya DiRado<\/strong> grabbed the seventh place seed with a time of 1:01.64, while Cal’s Kathleen Baker<\/b> rounds out the top eight qualifiers with a time of 1:01.81.<\/p>\n David Plummer\u00a0<\/strong>dashed to a sizzling time of 52.83 to lead the returning qualifiers in tonight’s 100 back. Plummer’s time lowers the pool record from its former 52.92 set by Nick Thoman in 2008.<\/p>\n Grigory Tarasevich\u00a0<\/strong>of Louisville turned in the second fastest time this morning, stopping the clock at a quick 54.33. SwimMAC’s\u00a0Ryan Lochte\u00a0<\/strong>joins the top three with a time of 55.02.<\/p>\n Michael Andrew<\/strong> finished just behind Lochte with a time of 55.44. Club Wolverine’s\u00a0Guy Barnes\u00a0<\/strong>delivered a close 55.46 for fifth overall in prelims.\u00a0Teammate\u00a0Bobby Hurley\u00a0<\/strong>kept it close with a 55.48 for sixth in tonight’s A final.<\/p>\n Arkady Vyatchanin<\/strong>, representing New York Athletic Club, will return as seventh with a time of 55.60, while\u00a0Aaron Greene<\/strong>\u00a0of Louisville rounds out the top eight qualifiers with a 56.06.<\/p>\n Kierra Smith<\/strong>, swimming unattached, delivered a sizzling 2:25.73 to solidify her as the top seed in the women’s 200 breast coming back for tonight’s A final. Cal’s\u00a0Marina Garcia Urzainqui<\/strong> turned in a quick 2:27.68 for the second place seed.<\/p>\n Louisville’s\u00a0Andee Cottrell<\/strong> finished a close third overall in prelims with a time of 2:29.22.\u00a0Martha McCabe<\/strong> of Toronto Swim Club returns as fourth in the event with a time of 2:29.56, making her the last athlete under the 2:30-mark.<\/p>\n Melanie Margalis<\/strong>, last night’s winner in the 100 breast, posted a time of 2:30.32 for the fifth place seed, while\u00a0Breeja Larson<\/strong>, swimming unattached, delivered a close 2:30.39 for the sixth place seed.<\/p>\n Minnesota Aquatics’\u00a0Haley Spencer<\/strong> (2:30.89) and Aggie Swim Club’s\u00a0Sarah Henry<\/strong> (2:32.05) return as the seventh and eighth place seeds respectively.<\/p>\n Louisville’s\u00a0Carlos Claverie<\/strong> turned in a swift 2:12.02 this morning to return as the top qualifier in the men’s 200 breaststroke.<\/p>\n Nicholas Fink<\/strong> of Athens Bulldog Swim Club and North Baltimore’s\u00a0Chase Kalisz\u00a0<\/strong>will join him in the center of the pool for finals after battling to the finish in heat seven of prelims. Fink managed to keep his lead and finish ahead with a 2:14.87 over Kalisz’s 2:14.90.<\/p>\n Cardinal Aquatics’\u00a0Thomas Dahlia\u00a0<\/strong>and Limmat Sharks Zurich’s\u00a0Yannick Kaeser\u00a0<\/strong>finished with strikingly close times. Dahlia turned in a time of 2:14.92 for the fourth place seed, while Kaeser stopped the clock at 2:14.95 for fifth.<\/p>\n Cody Miller<\/strong>\u00a0of Badger Swim Club returns as the sixth place seed with a qualifying time of 2:15.10, while sixth goes to\u00a0BJ<\/strong> Johnson<\/strong>, swimming unattached,\u00a0<\/strong>and his time of 2:15.18.<\/p>\n Nick Schafer<\/strong>, swimming unattached, rounds out the top eight qualifiers with a 2:16.26.<\/p>\n Katie Ledecky<\/strong> of Nation’s Capital continued to show her prowess in the distance events by lowering the women’s 400 free pool record to a 4:03.05 in prelims. Ledecky’s time replaces\u00a0Allison Schmitt’s<\/strong> 2011 pool record of 4:07.78; look for Ledecky to challenge her time again in tonight’s finals.<\/p>\n Leah Smith<\/strong>, swimming unattached, returns tonight as the second place seed in the event with a 4:06.82. Mission Viejo’s\u00a0Stephanie Peacock<\/strong> rounds out the top three qualifiers with a time of 4:09.16.<\/p>\n North Baltimore teammates Becca Mann<\/b> and\u00a0Cierra Runge<\/strong> grabbed the fourth and fifth place seeds respectively. Mann turned in a final time of 4:09.73 from heat five, while Runge posted a 4:11.53 from heat four.<\/p>\n Haley Anderson<\/strong> of Trojan Swim Club grabbed sixth overall in prelims with a time of 4:12.23, while North Baltimore’s\u00a0Allison Schmitt<\/strong> finished seventh overall with a 4:13.10.<\/p>\n Lindsay Vrooman<\/strong> of Badger Swim Club rounds out the top eight qualifiers with a 4:13.14.<\/p>\n Conor Dwyer<\/strong> of Trojan Swim Club continued yesterday’s success in prelims of the 400 free this morning. Dwyer posted a time of 3:52.52 to secure the top spot in tonight’s A final.<\/p>\n Marcelo Acosta<\/strong> of Azura Florida Aquatic came from behind in heat five to overtake Club Wolverine’s\u00a0Connor Jaeger<\/strong> for the second place seed. Acosta stopped the clock at 3:54.84 over Jaeger’s 3:55.65.<\/p>\n Giovanny Lima<\/strong> of SESI finished fourth overall in prelims with a time of 3:55.91.
