Hit refresh for the latest coverage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 200 free<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>NCAP&#8217;s <strong>Katie Ledecky<\/strong> powered her way to the pool record in the women&#8217;s 200-meter free at the 2015 Arena Pro Swim Series Minneapolis.<\/p>\n<p>Ledecky surged to a blazing time of 1:55.37. \u00a0That swim eclipsed the pool record of 1:55.82 set by <strong>Allison Schmitt<\/strong> back in 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Ledecky&#8217;s time was just off her sizzling fourth-ranked season best of 1:55.16 from the World Championships as she continued to put her foot down as the best swimmer in the world.<\/p>\n<p>Only <strong>Sarah Sjostrom<\/strong> (1:54.31), <strong>Femke Heemskerk<\/strong> (1:54.68) and <strong>Federica Pellegrini<\/strong> (1:55.00) have been faster this year.<\/p>\n<p>Colorado Stars&#8217; <strong>Missy Franklin<\/strong> put up a pretty strong 1:56.73 of her own to take second. That&#8217;s a second back of her sixth-ranked best of 1:55.49 from Worlds this summer as well.<\/p>\n<p>Schmitt claimed the third spot on the podium with a time of 1:57.27.<\/p>\n<p>Virginia&#8217;s <strong>Leah Smith<\/strong> (1:57.79), Saint Petersburg&#8217;s <strong>Melanie Margalis<\/strong> (1:58.11), NBAC&#8217;s <strong>Cierra Runge<\/strong> (1:59.15), California&#8217;s <strong>Camille Cheng<\/strong> (1:59.85) and Aggie&#8217;s <strong>Sarah Henry<\/strong> (2:01.15) also competed in the championship heat.<\/p>\n<p>Mission Viejo&#8217;s <strong>Stephanie Peacock<\/strong> walked away with the B final victory with a time of 1:59.93 in what proved to be an incredibly close consolation heat. \u00a0Bulldog&#8217;s <strong>Shannon Vreeland<\/strong> took second in 2:00.04 with California&#8217;s <strong>Katie McLaughlin<\/strong> earning third in 2:00.14. That&#8217;s a full second off Phelps&#8217; pool record of 1:46.88 from 2011. \u00a0The time also finished a second back of Dwyer&#8217;s 15th-ranked season best of 1:46.64 from Worlds.<\/p>\n<p>SwimMAC&#8217;s <strong>Ryan Lochte<\/strong> chased down second place with a time of 1:48.66, while Cardinals&#8217; <strong>Joao De Lucca<\/strong> rounded out the podium with a third-place effort of 1:49.06.<\/p>\n<p>SESI&#8217;s <strong>Giovanny Lima<\/strong> (1:49.87), Wisconsin&#8217;s<strong> Michael Weiss<\/strong> (1:50.12), Louisville&#8217;s <strong>Trevor Carroll<\/strong> (1:50.26), Louisville&#8217;s <strong>Matthias Lindenbauer<\/strong> (1:50.35) and Club Wolverine&#8217;s<strong> Bobby Hurley<\/strong> (1:50.36) finished fourth through eighth.<\/p>\n<p>UBCD&#8217;s <strong>Markus Thormeyer<\/strong> touched out NBAC&#8217;s <strong>Michael Phelps<\/strong> in the consolation heat, 1:50.28 to 1:50.39. \u00a0That&#8217;s a rare finish for Phelps even though he&#8217;s coming down from intense altitude training in Colorado Springs. <strong>Yuri Kisil<\/strong> took third for UBCD in 1:51.00.<\/p>\n<pre><b>                            === A - That broke the pool record of 1:01.02 set by <strong>Carlos Claverie<\/strong> this morning, which broke the previous mark of 1:01.13 set by <strong>Brendan Hansen<\/strong> in 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Miller, who has a 59.51 to his credit from the Santa Clara stop of the Arena Pro Swim Series last season, finished second in 1:00.86. Claverie settled for third in 1:01.19.<\/p>\n<p>Indie&#8217;s <strong>Michael Andrew<\/strong> missed the 15-16 national age group mark with a 1:01.25 for fourth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Felipe Lima<\/strong> (1:01.35), Club Wolverine&#8217;s <strong>Richard Funk<\/strong> (1:01.66), Limmat Sharks&#8217;
