Hosszu sits at second with a 55.31, while Lee is third with a 55.35.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alia Atkinson<\/strong> of Jamaica turned in a swift 30.34 in the women&#8217;s 50-meter breaststroke, adding slightly to her 2015 best of 30.11. Australia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Leiston Jane Pickett<\/strong> returns to finals as the second seed with a time of 31.30 and Turkey&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Viktoria Zeynep Gunes<\/strong> grabbed third with a 31.55.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adam Peaty<\/strong> of Great Britain blasted to the top of men&#8217;s 100-meter breaststroke with a time of 1:00.06. South Africa&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Cameron van der Burgh<\/strong> returns as the second-place seed with a 1:01.21, while\u00a0<strong>Kevin Cordes<\/strong>\u00a0of the USA holds a narrow third with a 1:01.23.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Emily Seebohm<\/strong>\u00a0of Australia continued to demonstrate her prowess in the backstroke by qualifying first for finals in the 100-meter back by over a second. Seebohm turned in a time of 1:00.65 ahead of Hosszu&#8217;s 1:01.83.\u00a0<strong>Harriet Cooper<\/strong> of Great Britain rounds out the top three with a time of 1:01.86.<\/p>\n<p>The men&#8217;s 50-meter back was loaded with talent as\u00a0<strong>David Plummer<\/strong> of the USA,\u00a0<strong>Mitch Larkin<\/strong> of Australia,\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Michael Andrew<\/strong> of the USA battling as the top three seeds for finals. Plummer sits at first with a qualifying time of 24.82, while Larkin (25.39) and Andrew (25.70) sit close behind for second and third respectively.<\/p>\n<p><a
