HYDERABAD, India, October 20. WHILE the swimmers were lighting up the pool at the World Military Games in Hyderabad, India, the divers were taking to the air for their competition. Throughout the diving meet, China claimed three out of the five titles, as well as three other medals.<\/p>\n
In the men's events, China's Bo Peng won the three-meter event with a tally of 481.10 points, while Russia's Dmitry Sautin took silver with 472.60 points and China's Zhang Xin Hua garnered bronze with 470.60 points. <\/p>\n
On the platform, North Korea's Chon Man Kim walked away with the title with 463.60 points, while Romania's Popovici Constantin placed second with 454.70 points. Russia's Alexy Kravchenko tallied 447.60 points for third.<\/p>\n
In one-meter action, China posted a 1-2 finish. Li Shixin dominated with 428.30 points for gold, while teammate Zhang Xinhua took silver with 397.30 points. Germany's Sascha Klein pocketed bronze with 360.80 points.<\/p>\n
In women's action, China's Yang Yuting edged Russia's Bazhina Nadezhad, 297.00 to 292.80, for the three-meter title. Meanwhile, North Korea's O Kim finished third with 282.00 points.<\/p>\n
From the one-meter, Russia's Yuliya Pakhalina torched the competition with a top-tally of 308.10 points, while China's Yang Yuting earned silver with 268.90 points. North Korea's Ok Ju Kim placed third with 260.30 points.<\/p>\n
