For more information about Agon, visit their website <a href=http:\/\/www.agonswim.com target=_blank>AgonSwim.com<\/a>.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Louisiana state champion <strong>Amy Miller<\/strong> is headed to Texas A&#038;M University next fall, looking to join the prestigious line of breaststroke greats who came from the program.<\/p>\n<p>Miller competes for Crawfish Aquatics in USA Swimming meets and St. Joseph\u2019s Academy for high school swimming. She\u2019s had much success in both arenas, including a state high school title in the 100 breast last season. She\u2019ll be looking to defend that 100 breast title next month and try to upgrade to state champion in the 100 free after placing second last year. She set lifetime bests of 1:04.34 in the 100 breast and 51.79 in the 100 free at the 2014 Louisiana high school championships.<\/p>\n<p>Miller could make some big improvements when she arrives in College Station next fall, similar to the exponential trajectory that <strong>Breeja Larson<\/strong> took in her freshman year to go from also-ran to NCAA champion. Miller\u2019s freestyle talents mirror Larson\u2019s, who contributed to Texas A&#038;M\u2019s sprint freestyle relays regularly.<\/p>\n<p>Miller had surgery on her elbow last December, and returned with a vengeance to earn junior national qualifying times in the 50 free (26.75) and 100 free (58.07) in long course racing.<\/p>\n<p>Miller joins <strong>Colin Bone<\/strong> (Auburn) as another Crawfish Aquatics member to make a verbal commitment to a university swimming program this fall.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Agon is the proud sponsor of all high school coverage (recruiting, results, state championships, etc.) on SwimmingWorld.com.
