For more information about Agon, visit their website <a href=http:\/\/www.agonswim.com target=_blank>AgonSwim.com<\/a>.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>The Florida State University men\u2019s swim team will have the son of an Olympic champion on the team starting next fall, as <strong>Max Polianski<\/strong> has made a verbal commitment to be a Seminole in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Max is the son of <strong>Igor Polianski<\/strong>, who won the 200 backstroke at the 1988 Olympics. The Polianskis reside in Auckland, New Zealand, where Max represents the United Swimming Club. He won the 200 fly in 1:56.97 at the New Zealand short course meters nationals last August. Polianski will bring that butterfly talent to the United States, along with great potential in backstroke and individual medley.<\/p>\n<p>Because he\u2019s never raced in short course yards, it\u2019s difficult to estimate the 19-year-old\u2019s potential on the Florida State squad, but his winning time in the 200 fly would convert to scoring potential in that event at the ACC championships in 2017.
