THIS weekend at the Mashoaland Junior League meet, Samantha Welch, 11, broke a 13-year-old Zimbabwe junior record previously held by Kirsty Coventry, according to a <a href=http:\/\/allafrica.com\/stories\/200709250187.html target=_blank>report<\/a> published in <i>The Herald<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>Welch clocked a readout of 48.26 in the 66 yard breaststroke to break the Under-12 standard of 48.92 previously set by Coventry in November of 1994.
