Kassy Kugler<\/strong> (now Kassy Alia),<\/strong> member of the University of South Carolina swim team through 2009, lost her husband in the line of duty on Wednesday morning in Forest Acres, S.C. Greg Alia,<\/strong> 32, was shot to death after responding to a report of a suspicious person at a local mall. Alia was a seven-year veteran of the Forest Acres Police Department and a beloved member of the Forest Acres community.<\/p>\n
