While information zings around the world at a click of a computer mouse, learning practical methodology in coaching swimming requires a personal touch. Twenty-two times this year, an ASCA staff member, or their designee, folds their shirts, squeezes their running shoes in a bag and jets off to one of 12 different countries to provide ASCA course work and put the content of coaching into practical context.<\/p>\n
“ASCA Educates The World” features dynamic facts about the American Swim Coaches Association and the people who have helped it grow into the well-known organization that it is. Executive director John Leonard and his staff continue to provide education to coaches in countries as far as China, Brazil, Kenya, Tunisia, and South Africa. The number of countries that ASCA serves continues to grow each year with four new countries joining next year.<\/p>\n
