Nikola Obrovac<\/strong>\u00a0of Croatia narrowly grabbed first in the men’s 50-meter breast during prelims of day five at the 2015 FINA World Junior Championships with a time of 28.11.<\/p>\n

Lithuania’s\u00a0Andrius Sidlauskas<\/strong>\u00a0was a close second with a qualifying time of 28.12 from heat seven.<\/p>\n

Anton Chupkov<\/strong>\u00a0of Russia grabbed the third place seed with a time of 28.19, also from heat seven.<\/p>\n

Italy’s\u00a0Nicolo Martinenghi<\/strong>\u00a0posted a time of 28.22 from heat six to grab the fourth place seed.<\/p>\n

Michael Andrew<\/strong>\u00a0of the USA finished fifth overall in prelims with a time of 28.28 from heat five.\u00a0Shen Hao<\/strong>\u00a0of China finished close behind Andrew with a time of 28.45 from the same heat.<\/p>\n

Turkey’s\u00a0Huseyin Emre Sakci<\/strong>\u00a0grabbed the seventh place seed with a time of 28.49, while Great Britain’s\u00a0Charlie Attwood<\/strong>\u00a0was eighth overall with a time of 28.52.<\/p>\n

The USA’s\u00a0Reece Whitley<\/strong>\u00a0(28.62), Belarus’\u00a0Anton Prakopau<\/strong>\u00a0(28.78), Belgium’s\u00a0Basten Caerts\u00a0<\/strong>(28.83), China’s\u00a0Lin Yunsong<\/strong>\u00a0(28.83), Australia’s\u00a0Matthew Wilson<\/strong>\u00a0(28.87) and\u00a0Grayson Bell<\/strong>\u00a0(28.98), Russia’s\u00a0Egor Suchkov<\/strong>\u00a0(29.02), and Japan’s\u00a0Ippei Miyamoto<\/strong>\u00a0(29.17) complete the top sixteen qualifiers for tonight’s semi-finals.<\/p>\n
