Hit refresh for the latest coverage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 400 free finals<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>USA&#8217;s <strong>Grant Shoults<\/strong> turned in the fourth-ranked swim in the world by an 18-and-under swimmer this year when he won the men&#8217;s 400-meter free at the 2015 FINA World Junior Championships.<\/p>\n<p>Shoults won the race wire-to-wire as he went out fast and continued to build on his victorious race with a time of 3:48.91.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s the fourth-best swim by an 18-and-under this year, and second-best by an American behind <strong>Townley Haas<\/strong> (3:48.69).<\/p>\n<p><strong>18-And-Under World Rankings According to USA Swimming Stats<\/strong><\/p>\n[table \u201c\u201d not found \/]<br \/>\n\n<p>China grabbed the rest of the podium spots.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Yang Jintong<\/strong> raced his way to a 3:50.05 for the silver, while top-seeded <strong>Qiu Ziao<\/strong> wound up falling back to bronze in 3:50.99.<\/p>\n<p>Australia&#8217;s <strong>Joshua Parrish<\/strong> (3:51.00), Great Britain&#8217;s<strong> Cameron Kurle<\/strong> (3:51.02), Mexico&#8217;s <strong>Ricardo Vargas<\/strong> (3:53.39), USA&#8217;s <strong>Matthew Hirschberger<\/strong> (3:54.09) and Venezuela&#8217;s <strong>Rafael Davila<\/strong> (3:54.67) also competed in the finals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 50 breast semis<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Turkey&#8217;s <strong>Viktoria Zeynep Gunes<\/strong> unleashed a sixth-ranked time in the women&#8217;s 50-meter breast semis at the 2015 FINA World Junior Championships.<\/p>\n<p>Gunes threw down a 30.55 in semifinal 2 to lead the way into the championship finale tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>That time vaulted her to sixth in the world rankings as she continues to climb the rankings in the event.<\/p>\n<p><strong>50 Breast World Rankings<\/strong><\/p>\n[table \u201c\u201d not found \/]<br \/>\n\n<p>Sweden&#8217;s <strong>Sophie Hansson<\/strong> lead the rest of the field as Gunes looks to be a shoo-in for the gold. \u00a0Hansson qualified second in 31.32 with Great Britain&#8217;s<strong> Katie Matts<\/strong> claiming the third seed in 31.60.<\/p>\n<p>USA&#8217;s <strong>Nikol Popov<\/strong> (31.72) and<strong> Kennedy Lohman<\/strong> (31.87) qualified fourth and fifth.<\/p>\n<p>Australia&#8217;s<strong> Ella Bond<\/strong> (31.92), Japan&#8217;s <strong>Yukino Miyasaka<\/strong> (32.04) and Russia&#8217;s <strong>Maria Astashkina<\/strong> (32.26) also made the finale.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 100 back semis<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Romania&#8217;s <strong>Robert Glinta<\/strong> lowered the meet record in the men&#8217;s 100-meter back semis at the 2015 FINA World Junior Championships.<\/p>\n<p>Glinta clocked a top-seeded time of 54.56 in the second semifinal of the night.<\/p>\n<p>That performance lowered the meet record of 54.74 set by <strong>Michael Taylor<\/strong> of the USA during prelims, and moved Glinta closer to <strong>Apostolos Christou&#8217;s<\/strong> World Junior Record of 54.03 from last summer.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s also the fifth-ranked 18-and-under swim this year according to USA Swimming Stats.<\/p>\n<p><strong>18-And-Under World Rankings According to USA Swimming Stats<\/strong><\/p>\n[table \u201c\u201d not found \/]<br \/>\n\n<p>Taylor bettered his prelim time as well with a second-seeded 54.62, while <strong>Michael Andrew<\/strong> of the U.S. put up a third-seeded effort of 54.74.<\/p>\n<p>Great Britain&#8217;s <strong>Luke Greenbank<\/strong> and Egypt&#8217;s<strong> Youssef Abdalla<\/strong> tied for fourth with matching 54.93s as the only other sub-55s of the night.<\/p>\n<p>Spain&#8217;s <strong>Hugo Gonzalez<\/strong> (55.01), Canada&#8217;s <strong>Markus Thormeyer<\/strong> (55.03) and <strong>Javier Acevedo<\/strong> (55.24) also earned spots in the finale.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 400 IM finals<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Great Britain had a huge 1-2 finish in the women&#8217;s 400-meter IM as<strong> Rosie Rudin<\/strong> led the way with a meet record at the 2015 FINA World Junior Championships.<\/p>\n<p>Rudin topped the finale for gold with a time of 4:39.01 to break <strong>Ella Eastin&#8217;s<\/strong> meet record of 4:40.02 from the 2013 edition in Dubai.<\/p>\n<p>Rudin&#8217;s teammate <strong>Georgia Coates<\/strong> also cleared the previous meet mark with a silver-winning time of 4:39.94.<\/p>\n<p>Spain&#8217;s <strong>Africa Zamorano<\/strong> rounded out the podium with a bronze-winning effort of 4:40.15 in what proved to be a swift finale.<\/p>\n<p>The top two swims are among the top five swims by 18-and-unders this year according to USA Swimming Stats.<\/p>\n<p><strong>18-And-Under World Rankings According to USA Swimming Stats<\/strong><\/p>\n[table \u201c\u201d not found \/]<br \/>\n\n<p>Although the official results have Rudin breaking a World Junior record, it&#8217;s not even close to the fastest time in the age group. \u00a0<strong>Zhou Min<\/strong> of China put up a 4:35.69 at the 2014 Chinese Nationals as the currently unratified World Junior record for 17-and-unders amongst the women.<\/p>\n<p>USA&#8217;s <strong>Brooke Forde<\/strong>, the daughter of popular <em>Yahoo Sports<\/em> columnist<strong> Pat Forde<\/strong>, was the best of the rest with a fourth-place effort of 4:43.20.<\/p>\n<p>Serbia&#8217;s <strong>Anja Crevar<\/strong> (4:43.36), Italy&#8217;s<strong> Ilaria Cusinato<\/strong> (4:44.84), USA&#8217;s <strong>Savanna Faulconer<\/strong> (4:47.82) and Japan&#8217;s<strong> Hiroko Makino<\/strong> (4:48.05) finished fifth through eighth in the finale.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 100 breast semis<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Russia&#8217;s <strong>Anton Chupkov<\/strong> cruised to the top seed in the men&#8217;s 100-meter breast finals at the 2015 FINA World Junior Championships.<\/p>\n<p>After setting a World Junior record in prelims with a sizzling 1:00.12 to move to 20th in the world rankings, Chupkov checked in with a 1:00.34 for the top seed heading into tomorrow&#8217;s finals.<\/p>\n<p>USA&#8217;s <strong>Michael Andrew<\/strong>, in his second swim of the night, nearly broke his 15-16 U.S. National Age Group record of 1:00.68 with a second-ranked swim of 1:00.78.<\/p>\n<p>Lithuania&#8217;s<strong> Andrius Sidlauskas<\/strong> qualified third overall in 1:00.83 as the only other sub-1:01 of the night.<\/p>\n<p>Along with <strong>Carsten Vissering<\/strong> (1:00.86), the top three are among just four 18-and-unders to have broken 1:01 this year.<\/p>\n<p>USA&#8217;s <strong>Reece Whitley<\/strong> claimed the fourth seed in 1:01.52 with Australia&#8217;s<strong> Matthew Wilson<\/strong> snaring fifth in 1:01.81.<\/p>\n<p>Italy&#8217;s<strong> Nicolo Martinenghi<\/strong> (1:01.95), Great Britain&#8217;s <strong>Charlie Attwood<\/strong> (1:01.96) and Belgium&#8217;s <strong>Basten Caerts<\/strong> (1:01.99) also grabbed transfer spots into the championship heat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 100 back semis<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Australia&#8217;s <strong>Minna Atherton<\/strong> nearly downed her meet record during semis of the women&#8217;s 100-meter back at the 2015 FINA World Junior Championships.<\/p>\n<p>Atherton clocked a top time of 59.86, just off her meet mark of 59.83 from prelims.<\/p>\n<p>That time is currently listed as a World Junior record, but is well short of the unratified top time of 59.58 posted by <strong>Claire Adams<\/strong> of the U.S. at USA Nationals earlier this month.<\/p>\n<p>Just five swimmers 18-and-under have broken 1:00 this year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>18-And-Under World Rankings According to USA Swimming Stats<\/strong><\/p>\n[table \u201c\u201d not found \/]<br \/>\n\n<p>Canada&#8217;s <strong>Taylor Ruck<\/strong> threw down a second-seeded time of 1:00.61 with USA&#8217;s Adams posting a third-ranked time of 1:00.64.<\/p>\n<p>Canada&#8217;s<strong> Danielle Hanus<\/strong> (1:00.75), Russia&#8217;s <strong>Irina Prikhodko<\/strong> (1:00.80) and New Zealand&#8217;s <strong>Bobbi Gichard<\/strong> (1:00.88) also broke 1:01 to make the finale.<\/p>\n<p>New Zealand&#8217;s <strong>Gabrielle Fa&#8217;Amausili<\/strong> (1:01.15) and USA&#8217;s <strong>Grace Ariola<\/strong> (1:01.42) snagged the finale two spots in finals tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 400 free relay finals<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Australia proved to be too consistently good across the board en route to gold in the men&#8217;s 400-meter freestyle relay at the 2015 FINA World Junior Championships.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vincent Dai, Kyle Chalmers, Brayden McCarthy<\/strong> and <strong>Jack Cartwright<\/strong> won the finale in 3:17.39 with Chalmers leading the way with a strong 48.41 second leg.<\/p>\n<p>Team USA&#8217;s<strong> Ryan Hoffer, Daniel Kruger, Michael Jensen<\/strong> and <strong>Maxime Rooney<\/strong> finished second with a time of 3:18.42.<\/p>\n<p>Italy&#8217;s <strong>Alessandro Bori, Giovanni Izzo, Ivano Vendrame<\/strong> and <strong>Alessandro Miressi<\/strong> placed third in 3:18.58.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_151921\" style=\"width: 710px\" Venezuela (3:23.41) and Egypt (3:23.77) also competed for the gold medal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 800 free relay finals<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Australia swept the relay events on the first day as the Dolphins claimed the women&#8217;s 800-meter free relay at the 2015 FINA World Junior Championships.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tamsin Cook, Lucy Elizabeth McJannett, Shayna Jack<\/strong> and <strong>Gemma Cooney<\/strong> won the event in a meet-record time of 7:56.68. \u00a0That swim crushed the 7:59.42 meet record set by Team USA in 2013 that also stood as the World Junior record.<\/p>\n<p>Cook&#8217;s leadoff leg of 1:58.16 set the meet record in the women&#8217;s 200-meter free.<\/p>\n<p>Canada&#8217;s <strong>Penny Oleksiak, Rebecca Smith, Mary-Sophie Harvey<\/strong> and <strong>Taylor Ruck<\/strong> took silver in 7:57.04.<\/p>\n<p>Russia&#8217;s <strong>Arina Openysheva, Daria Mullakaeva, Valeriia Salamatina<\/strong> and <strong>Anastassia Kirpichnikova<\/strong> grabbed bronze in a time of 7:57.58.<\/p>\n<p>USA&#8217;s <strong>Lauren Case, Melissa Pish, Tatum Wade<\/strong> and <strong>Hannah Cox<\/strong> wound up fourth in
