As he did after the 50 breast final, he talked about holding on to the pre-race strategy and not getting overzealous as the race progressed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI tried to go out as smooth as I could,\u201d he said after the race. \u201cI knew I had a shot, so I just stuck to the game plan, and knew not to spin out \u2026 and just bring it home.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong><font silver medal for Cordes was major redemption after he did not make the final in 2013, and he said that was a motivating factor before the final. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cDoing this three-day (racing schedule) is a learning experience going into next year,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s my first 200 breast final, so to come away with a silver, I\u2019m really
