Swimming World will provide a unique analysis of each zone each week and include the top times and top\u00a0<\/em><i>athletes.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>USA Swimming Eastern Zone<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<p><strong>Girls: <\/strong>In the Eastern Zone, there were no changes at the top of the 11-year old girls\u2019 list. <strong>Phoebe Bacon<\/strong> of Nation\u2019s Capital improved the top time in the 50-meter back for the 12-year old girls. Machine Aquatics swimmer <strong>Anna Keating <\/strong>also hit a new best time in the 100-meter breast for the age group.<\/p>\n<p>Westchester Aquatic Club\u2019s <strong>Kate Douglass<\/strong> notched three new zone bests for the 13-year old girls in the 50-meter free and the 100 and 200-meter breast. <strong>Olivia Bray<\/strong> also achieved three top times in the 200-meter back and 100 and 200-meter fly. <strong>Isabel Gormley<\/strong> of Asphalt Green Unified Aquatics pumped out a new top time with her 4:59.59 in the 400-meter IM as well.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Caroline Kulp <\/strong>(800-meter free) and <strong>Yunfan Dong<\/strong> (100-meter back) swam two zone bests for the 14-year old girls. In the next age group, <strong>Isabella Rongione<\/strong> of Nation\u2019s Capital gutted out a new top time in the 1500-meter free with a 16:29.41. <strong>Morgan Scott<\/strong> of the Central Bucks Swim Team (50-meter free) and <strong>Lara Bate<\/strong> (200-meter breast) also swam top times for the 15-year old girls.<\/p>\n<p>In the 16-year old girls age group, Long Island Aquatic Club\u2019s <strong>Margaret Aroesty <\/strong>spearheaded the group with three new top times in the 100 and 200-meter breast and 400-meter IM. <strong>Emma Seiberlich<\/strong> of Phoenixville YMCA (200-meter fly) and <strong>Molly Sheffield<\/strong> of Burkwood Aquatic Club (100-meter fly) joined Aroesty at the top of the age group. <strong>Casey Fanz<\/strong> of Poseidon Swimming (50-meter free) and <strong>Carly Fried<\/strong> of Asphalt Green (100-meter breast) churned out top times for the 17-year old girls.<\/p>\n<p>All Star Aquatics swimmer <strong>Caroline McTaggart<\/strong> zoomed to zone bests in the 50 and 100-meter free as well as the 100-meter fly for the 18-year old girls. Seacoast Swimming\u2019s <strong>Kyra Sarazen<\/strong> added two top times in the 100 and 200-meter fly. <strong>Megan Brown<\/strong> topped the age group with her 200-meter IM. The highlight of the zone, and probably all of USA Swimming came from <strong>Katie Ledecky<\/strong>. Ledecky swam top times in the 200 and 400-meter free. On top of that, she busted out a world record-breaking 1500-meter free with a 15:27.71.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Boys: Ren-e Tan<\/strong> of North Baltimore swam three top times in the Eastern Zone for the 11-year old boys in the 200 and 400-meter free and 400-meter IM. His teammate <strong>Alex Lakatta<\/strong> also notched a zone best for the age group in the 200-meter back.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vinny Marciano<\/strong> (50-meter free and 100-meter back) of Morris County Swim Club and <strong>Justin Konik <\/strong>(800 and 1500-meter free) each had top times for the 14-year old boys. <strong>Timothy Marski <\/strong>of Long Island Aquatic Club also contributed a new best in the 400-meter IM with his 4:43.07.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Max Miranda<\/strong> of Bluefish Swim Club (200-meter free and 200-meter fly), <strong>Reece Whitley <\/strong>of Penn Charter Aquatic Club (200-meter breast and 200-meter IM), and <strong>Alessandro Boratto<\/strong> of Upper Dublin Aquatic Club (100 and 200-meter back) all added two times each for the 15-year old boys. <strong>David May <\/strong>of Sea Dog Swim Club (100-meter fly), <strong>Keith Myburgh<\/strong> (400-meter IM), and <strong>Dylan Arzoni <\/strong>of North Baltimore (100-meter free) also swam zone bests.<\/p>\n<p>The 16 and 17-year old boys saw numerous changes at the top of their lists. <strong>Sam Pomajevich<\/strong> of Nation\u2019s Capital swam top times in the 100 and 200-meter fly. <strong>Ben Skopic<\/strong> of Eagle Swim Team added his 2:07.84 200-meter IM to the top of the age group as well. <strong>Dylan Cudahy<\/strong> of Machine Aquatics (400-meter IM), <strong>Clark Beach<\/strong> of Quest Swimming (200-meter back), and <strong>Jake Sannem<\/strong> of Upper Dublin also posted top times. NOVA swimmers <strong>Wade O\u2019Brien<\/strong> (200-meter back) and <strong>Charlie Swanson<\/strong> (200 and 400-meter IM) swam zone-best times for the 17-year old boys. They were joined by Upper Dublin\u2019s <strong>Michael Thomas<\/strong> (100-meter fly) and <strong>Michael Jensen<\/strong> (100-meter free), Machine Aquatics\u2019 <strong>James Murphy<\/strong> (200 and 400-meter free), Delaware Swim Team\u2019s <strong>David Crossland<\/strong> (100-meter back), North Baltimore\u2019s <strong>Billy Cadigan<\/strong> (1500-meter free), Eastern Express Swim Team\u2019s <strong>Jack McIntyer<\/strong>, and Chelsea Piers Aquatic Club\u2019s <strong>John Montesi <\/strong>(200-meter fly).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cole Buese<\/strong> from North Baltimore and <strong>Carsten Vissering<\/strong> of Nation\u2019s Capital swam top times in the 200-meter back and 100-meter breast, respectively.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>USA Swimming Central Zone<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<p><strong>Girls: <\/strong>In the Central Zone, 11-year old Aquajets Swim Team teammates <strong>Sydney Holinka<\/strong> and <strong>Eason Jones<\/strong> hit top times in the 100-meter free and 200-meter back, respectively. <strong>Aubree Brouwer<\/strong> of the Jasper County Killer Whales also made the top of the list with her 36.54 100-meter breast. Another Aquajets swimmer, <strong>Abby Kapeller<\/strong>, topped the 12-year old girls age group with her 30.63 50-meter back.<\/p>\n<p>Pointe Aquatics swimmer <strong>Sophie Housey<\/strong> swam two top times in the 200 and 400-meter free for the 13-year old girls. Green Bay Swim Club\u2019s <strong>Emma Lasecki<\/strong> also added two top times in the 200-meter fly and 200-meter IM. <strong>Regan Smith<\/strong> of Riptide (100-meter back) and <strong>Hayley Pike <\/strong>of Razorback Aquatic Club (1500-meter free) also swam zone bests. <strong>Anya Goeders<\/strong> of Mako Swim Team (50-meter free) and <strong>Maddy Potter<\/strong> of Edina Swim Club (100-meter fly) added top times for the 14-year old girls.<\/p>\n<p>Waves Bloomington\/Normal Y Swim Team\u2019s <strong>Melissa Pish<\/strong> swam three new top times for the 15-year old girls in the 100, 200 and 800-meter free. Her teammate <strong>Grace Ariola <\/strong>added top backstroke times in the 100 (1:01.38) and 200-meter (2:11.14) distances.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Madeline Vonderhaar<\/strong> of the Northern Kentucky Clippers lowered her top time in the 200-meter breast to a 2:31.70 for the 16-year old girls. <strong>Alexis Yager <\/strong>of the Academy Bullets (100-meter breast) and <strong>Lauren Edelman<\/strong> of Fishers Area Swim Team (400-meter IM) also topped the age group. Meanwhile, <strong>Cassy Jernberg <\/strong>of Schroeder YMCA (800-meter free) and <strong>Tevyn Waddell<\/strong> of Mitchell Aquatic Club (100-meter back) notched zone bests for the 17-year old girls.<\/p>\n<p>Cincinnati Marlins swimmer <strong>Allie Wooden<\/strong> bested her own mark in the 50-meter free with a 26.02. <strong>Miranda Tucker<\/strong> of Livonia Community Swim Club also added top times for the 18-year old girls with her 200-meter breast and 200-meter IM.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Boys: <\/strong>Aquajets swimmer <strong>James Pan<\/strong> tore through five new zone bests for the 11-year old boys in the 50 and 100-meter free, 200-meter breast, 50-meter fly, and 200-meter IM. <strong>Andrew Rodgers<\/strong> of the Arkansas Dolphins added his 1:06.25 100-meter fly to the mix as well. Pan\u2019s teammate <strong>Hayden Zheng <\/strong>posted zone bests for the 12-year old boys in the 50, 100, and 200-meter breast. <strong>Griffin Hadley <\/strong>of Carmely Swim Club (200-meter back) and <strong>Seth Young<\/strong> of the Northern Kentucky Clippers (100-meter fly) also added top times.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Peter Larson<\/strong> of Edina Swim Club clocked top times for the 14-year old boys in the 800-meter free and 200-meter back. <strong>Jack Dolan <\/strong>of Rockwood Swim Club (100-meter fly), <strong>Shane Blinkman <\/strong>of Hudson Area Swimming (100-meter back), and <strong>Andrew Trepanier<\/strong> of the South Metro Storm (50-meter free) also added zone bests. <strong>Drew Kibler<\/strong> provided the lone change atop the 15-year old boys age group with his 51.35 100-meter free.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Michael Andrew<\/strong> of Indie Swimming torched five new top times in the zone in the 50 and 100-meter free, 100-meter back, 100-meter fly, and 200-meter IM. <strong>Liam Bresette<\/strong> of Empire Swim Club (800-meter free) and <strong>Sam Iida <\/strong> of Glenview Titan Aquatic Club (400-meter IM) topped the list as well.<\/p>\n<p>Northern Kentucky Clipper <strong>Brendan Meyer<\/strong>, 17, notched three new zone-best times in the 400 and 800-meter free and the 200-meter fly. <strong>Jacob Montague <\/strong>from Grosse Pointe Gators posted a 2:14.37 to lead the 200-meter breast for the age group. <strong>Ryan Huizing<\/strong> of Northwest Aquatic Club (100-meter fly), <strong>Nick Alexander<\/strong> from Flyers Aquatic Swim Team (200-meter IM), and <strong>Michael Milinovich <\/strong>of the Academy Bullets (400-meter IM) added top times as well.<\/p>\n<p>Greater Miami Valley YMCA stud <strong>Mark Andrew<\/strong> achieved four zone bests in the 18-year old boys\u2019 200-meter free, 100-meter fly, and both IMs. <strong>Kyle Decoursey<\/strong> of Zionsville Swim Club and <strong>Brennan Balogh <\/strong>of Lincoln Select Swimming clocked top times in the 100-meter free and 200-meter fly, respectively.<\/p>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>USA Swimming Southern Zone<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<p><strong>Girls: Gretchen Walsh<\/strong> of Nashville Aquatic Club popped off a zone-best in the 50-meter free for the 12-year old girls age group. The 13-year old girls saw plenty of change at the top, led by <strong>Alex Walsh\u2019s<\/strong> (Nashville) four top times in the 100 and 200-meter back, 100-meter breast, and 200-meter IM. <strong>Abby Grottle<\/strong> (800 and 1500-meter free) and <strong>Tristen Ulett<\/strong> (100-meter fly) of Dynamo Swim Club added top times as well. Cardinal Aquatics swimmer <strong>Gabi Albiero<\/strong> swam a 57.89 zone best in the 100-meter free.<\/p>\n<p>For the 14-year old girls, <strong>Ella Nelson<\/strong> of Nashville Aquatic Club swam a top time in the 200-meter breast with a 2:31.65. <strong>Kathleen Golding<\/strong> of South Florida Aquatic Club (200-meter IM), <strong>Isabel Ivey<\/strong> of Gator Swim Club (100-meter free), <strong>Kaitlynn Sims<\/strong> of Magnolia Aquatic Club (1500-meter free), and <strong>Katie Cronin<\/strong> (50-meter free) also etched their names at the top of the list.<\/p>\n<p>The 15-year old girls were also filled with changes at the top. <strong>Allie Raab<\/strong> of Nashville Aquatic Club swam top times in the 100 and 200-meter breast. <strong>Lucie Nordmann<\/strong> of The Woodlands Swim Team churned out a 1:02.88 zone-best swim in the 100-meter back. Pine Crest Swimming\u2019s <strong>Jessica Nava<\/strong>\u2019s 1:00.72 100-meter fly also topped the age group. <strong>Dakota Luther<\/strong> of Longhorn Aquatics (200-meter fly), <strong>Christin Rockway<\/strong> of Tampa Bay Aquatics (200-meter IM), <strong>Diana Dunn <\/strong>of Austim Swim Club (200-meter free), and <strong>Grace Countie <\/strong>of the Marlins of Raleigh all added their names to the apex of the zone.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marta Ciesla<\/strong> of Pine Crest Swimming topped the 50 and 100-meter free for the 16-year old girls. <strong>Joy Field <\/strong>of Magnolia Aquatic Club swam an 8:41.53 in the 800-meter free for a zone-best time. <strong>Erika Brown<\/strong> of SwimMAC and <strong>Julia Poole<\/strong> from Triangle Aquatics Club posted top times in the 200-meter free and 200-meter breast, respectively. <strong>Valerie Gruest <\/strong>(1500-meter free) and Nitro\u2019s <strong>Regan Barney<\/strong> (200-meter IM) also topped the 16-year old girls.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Haley McInerny<\/strong> of SwimAtlanta clocked top times in the 100 and 200-meter fly for the 17-year old girls. <strong>Kahra Williams<\/strong> of Gator Swim Club also added two top times in the 800 and 1500-meter free. SwimMAC\u2019s <strong>Allysa Marsh<\/strong> (50-meter free), Nitro\u2019s <strong>Karling Hemstreet<\/strong> (400-meter free), and Lakeside Swim Team\u2019s <strong>Kennedy Lohman<\/strong> (100-meter breast) all clocked top times for the age group.<\/p>\n<p>Y-Spartaquatics Swim Club\u2019s <strong>Katrina Konopka<\/strong> added zone bests in the 50 and 100-meter free for the 18-year old girls. <strong>Kathleen Baker<\/strong> (100-meter back), <strong>Remedy Rule<\/strong> (100-meter fly), and <strong>Sydney Pickrem<\/strong> (200-meter IM) rounded out the Southern Zone with top times.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Boys: <\/strong>There were only a few changes at the top for age group swimmers in the Southern Zone, all of which coming from the 14-year old boys. Dynamo\u2019s <strong>Liam Bell<\/strong> nailed two new top times in the 100 and 200-meter breast. <strong>Aldan Johnston<\/strong> of the Lakeside Swim Team clocked a 52.65 zone-best time in the 100-meter free. <strong>Mikey Calvillo<\/strong> of Alamo Area Aquatic Association posted top times in the 800-meter free and 400-meter IM.<\/p>\n<p>In the 15-year old boys, <strong>Henry Noah<\/strong> of Tigershark Swim Team (100-meter back and 100-meter fly) and <strong>Trey Freeman<\/strong> of Baylor Swim Club (200 and 400-meter free) both added two zone bests. Bolles School teammates <strong>Isaac Davis<\/strong> and <strong>Will Davis<\/strong> tied for the top spot in the 50-meter free with a 23.32. <strong>Andrew Winton<\/strong> of SwimAtlanta (200-meter breast), <strong>Jack LeVant<\/strong> of the North Texas Nadadores (200-meter fly), and <strong>Braden Vines<\/strong> of the City of Midland Swim Team (200-meter IM) all contributed zone bests.<\/p>\n<p>Nitro teammates <strong>Sean Grieshop<\/strong> (400-meter free and 200-meter IM) and <strong>Chris Yeager<\/strong> (800-meter free) swam top times for the 16-year old boys. <strong>Austin Katz<\/strong> of the Sarasota YMCA Sharks posted zone bests in the 200-meter free and 200-meter back. Bolles School swimmer <strong>Ariel Spektor<\/strong> notched the top 100-meter fly time with his 54.01.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Daniel Chang<\/strong> of Barracuda Swim Club of Northeast Tennessee pounced on two top breast times in the 100 and 200-meter races. <strong>Will Macmillan<\/strong> of North Carolina Aquatic Club pumped out a list-topper in the 100-meter fly. <strong>Grant Sanders<\/strong> (200-meter free) and Nitro\u2019s <strong>Taylor Abbott <\/strong>(800-meter free) also topped the zone. <strong>Jordan Ross<\/strong> of SwimAtalnta (100-meter back), <strong>Sam Stewart<\/strong> of Crawfish Aquatics (200-meter back), <strong>Carlos Claverie<\/strong> (100-meter breast), and <strong>Alarli Levreault-Lopez<\/strong> of Chattahoochee Gold Swim Club (200-meter fly) posted zone bests for the 18-year old boys age group.<\/p>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>USA Swimming Western Zone<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<p><strong>Girls: <\/strong>Brea Aquatics swimmer <strong>Justina Kozan<\/strong> turned in two top times in the 11-year old girls\u2019 100-meter fly and 200-meter IM. <strong>Mia Tandignan <\/strong>of Pikes Peak Athletics (50 and 200-meter free), <strong>Citlalti Gaeta<\/strong> of the Monterey Park Manta Rays (50-meter back), and <strong>Ella Martinez-Spencer<\/strong> of Redlands Swim Team also added top times to the age group. <strong>Amy Tang<\/strong> of the Pacific Dragons added top times in the 100 and 200-meter back for the 12-year old girls, while <strong>Nadia Bouraoui <\/strong>of Santa Clara Swim Club topped the 200-meter breast.<\/p>\n<p>There were numerous changes atop the 13-year old girls\u2019 list. <strong>Mackenzie Deng<\/strong> of Irvine Novaquatics (100 and 200-meter free) and <strong>Yuging Xie <\/strong>of Mission Viejo (400 and 800-meter free) both added two top times to the list. Xie\u2019s teammate <strong>Kaiqi Wang<\/strong> swam a 2:17.32 to top the 200-meter fly. Aquazot Swim Club\u2019s <strong>Samantha Pearson<\/strong> swam top times in the 200-meter back and 200-meter IM. <strong>Belle Battistoni<\/strong> of King Aquatic Club (100-meter breast), <strong>Reese Hazan<\/strong> of Sandpipers of Nevada (400-meter IM), and <strong>Brooke Schaffer<\/strong> of Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics (50-meter free) all swam zone bests for the age group.<\/p>\n<p>Fort Collins Area Swim Team\u2019s <strong>Zoe Bartel<\/strong> achieved three zone bests for the 14-year old girls in the 100 and 200-meter breast and 200-meter IM. Scottsdale Aquatic Club\u2019s <strong>Taylor Ruck<\/strong>, 15, churned out five new top times in the 50, 200, 400, and 800-meter free along with her 4:50.33 400-meter IM. <strong>Grace Zhao <\/strong>of Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics pumped out top times in the 100 and 200-meter breast, while Colorado Springs Aquatics swimmer <strong>Kate Sanderson<\/strong> gutted out a zone-best 17:10.08 1500-meter free.<\/p>\n<p>Brea Aquatics swimmer <strong>Kenisha Liu<\/strong> (100-meter fly) and Buenaventura Swim Club\u2019s <strong>Alicia Harrison<\/strong> (100-meter breast) swam new top times for the 16-year old girls. Sandpipers of Nevada teammates <strong>Erin Emery<\/strong> and <strong>Hailey Houck<\/strong> topped the 17-year old girls\u2019 list in the 400-meter free and 400-meter IM respectively.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ella Eastin<\/strong> of the SOCAL Aquatics Association led the charge for the 18-year old girls with four new top times. She posted zone bests in the 100-meter back, 200-meter fly, and both IMs. <strong>Meagan Popp<\/strong> of Irvine Novaquatics (200-meter breast) and <strong>Marie-Claire Schillinger<\/strong> (100-meter breast) of the Walnut Creek Aquabears also clocked zone bests.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Boys: <\/strong>Long Beach Shore Aquatics swimmer <strong>Hank Rivers<\/strong> busted out four top times for the 11-year old boys in the 50-meter free, 50-meter fly, and the 50 and 100-meter breast. <strong>Derek Young <\/strong>of the Pacific Dragons (100-meter fly) and <strong>Ronald Dalmacio<\/strong> of Rose Bowl Aquatics also chipped in top times for the age group.<\/p>\n<p>Redding Swim Team\u2019s <strong>Win Aunn<\/strong> continued his tear by adding top times in the 50-meter free and the 50 and 200-meter fly. <strong>Keane Alejandro<\/strong> of Canyons Aquatic pumped out top times in the 100-meter breast and 200-meter breast, while Orinda Aquatics swimmer <strong>Will Nagle <\/strong>topped the 400-meter IM.<\/p>\n<p>Rattler Swim Club\u2019s <strong>Rick Courrieu<\/strong> improved the top mark for the 13-year old boys in the 200, 400 and 800-meter free along with the 200-meter back. <strong>Ethan Dang<\/strong> of King Aquatic Club lowered his marks in the 100 and 200-meter breast races. Meanwhile, Terrapins Swim Team\u2019s <strong>Andrei Minakov<\/strong> (50-meter free and 100-meter fly)), Bainbridge Island Swim Club\u2019s <strong>Jude Wenker <\/strong>(100-meter free), Davis Arden Racing Team\u2019s <strong>Luca Urlando<\/strong> (100-meter back and 200-meter fly), Peak Swimming\u2019s <strong>Ethan Hu<\/strong> (200-meter IM), and <strong>Ethan Heasley<\/strong> of the Hillsboro Swim Team (400-metetr IM) added to the long list of changes atop the age group.<\/p>\n<p>14-year old boys <strong>Luke Thornbrue<\/strong> of Hillsboro (800 and 1500-meter free) and <strong>Caspar Corbeau<\/strong> (100 and 200-meter breast) swam zone bests along with Irvine Novaquatics swimmer <strong>Kevin Tu<\/strong> (200-meter back). <strong>Simon Lamar<\/strong> from FAST Swim Team led the 15-year old boys with two top times in the 800 and 1500-meter free. Fort Collins Area Swim Team\u2019s <strong>Danny Kovac<\/strong> put out a top time in the 100-meter back, while Mission Viejo\u2019s <strong>Daniel Kim<\/strong> swam a zone-best 100-meter fly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Maxime Rooney<\/strong>, 17, of the Pleasanton Seahawks hit three new top times in the 50, 100, and 200-meter free. King Aquatic Club swimmer <strong>Thomas Anderson<\/strong> notched a 56.32 top time in the 100-meter back, while Palo Alto\u2019s <strong>Benjamin Ho<\/strong> topped the 200-meter race. <strong>\u2018aukai Lileikis <\/strong>Aulea Swim Club provided a new zone best in the 200-meter IM. Arizona Gold Swimming\u2019s <strong>Mark Jurek<\/strong> topped the 200-meter fly and 400-meter IM.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Parks Jones<\/strong> (200-meter free) and <strong>Matt Salemo<\/strong> (100-meter breast) added their names to the top of the 18-year old boys\u2019 list.
