A number of youth standouts highlighted the action at the Charlotte UltraSwim over the weekend, with Caitlin Leverenz and Ava Ohlgren leading the way. Leverenz, a 16-year-old, won three events and Ohlgren was the winner of two events.<\/p>\n<p>Leverenz doubled in the 100 and 200 breaststrokes, going 1:10.31 and 2:27.56, and also won the 200 individual medley with a quality mark of 2:13.80. As for Ohlgren, the 19-year-old was the winner of the 400 individual medley (4:44.82) and 200 freestyle (2:00.65) on the second night of competition.<\/p>\n<p>While the 50 free was tabbed as a showdown between the old and new guard of American sprinting, Gary Hall Jr. and Cullen Jones, it was Cesar Cielo who took top honors. The Auburn standout, who set NCAA records in the 50-yard and 100-yard freestyles in march, won the one-lap sprint in 22.49.
