That time not only earns him the top seed coming back for finals in the event and the top time for 2015 in the world, but it is also a new American record. Adrian&#8217;s time replaces <strong>Cullen Jones&#8217;<\/strong> American record of 21.40 from 2009.<\/p>\n<p>France&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Florent Manaudou<\/strong> grabbed the second-place seed with a 21.41. This lowers his 2015 best of 21.57 by .16 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>Brazil&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Bruno Fratus<\/strong> joins Adrian and Manaudou in the middle lanes with a 21.60 for the third-place seed. This improves upon his best time of 21.74 from the Maria Lenk Trophy meet in Rio.<\/p>\n<p>Italy&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Marco Orsi<\/strong> turned in a 21.86 to grab the fourth-place seed.
