Forbes turned in a 1:02.54 to lower her own national record of 1:02.68 from 2014.\u00a0<strong>Ali Galyer<\/strong> of Middle Tyger took second with a final time of 1:03.11, while Countryside&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Marianne Kahmann<\/strong> rounded out the top three with a 1:03.95.<\/p>\n<p>Great Miami Valley&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Mark Andrew\u00a0<\/strong>lowered his own national mark in the men&#8217;s 400-meter IM posting a time of 4:26.57 for the win. Andrew&#8217;s former record from 2014 was a 4:27.25. Wilton teammates\u00a0<strong>Oscar Ike<\/strong>\u00a0(4:27.90) and\u00a0<strong>Robby Giller<\/strong>\u00a0(4:29.85) finished second and third respectively.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Daniel Hein<\/strong>\u00a0of Kishwaukee claimed first in the men&#8217;s 100-meter back with a finishing time of 56.79. Edwardsville&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Sean Workman<\/strong> finished second overall with a 57.41, while UpperMainLine&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Brian McKenrick<\/strong>\u00a0was a close third with a 57.46.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alyssa Arwood<\/strong> of W. North Carolina\u00a0dashed to first in the women&#8217;s 50-meter breaststroke with a time of 32.96. <strong>Sarah Helm<\/strong> of Springfield claimed second with a 33.39, while <strong>Shelly Prayson<\/strong> of South Family took third overall with a 33.58.<\/p>\n<p>Fifteen-year-old\u00a0<strong>Max McHugh<\/strong> topped the competition in the men&#8217;s 50-meter breaststroke finishing with a time of 29.13, touching .80 seconds ahead of the competition.\u00a0<strong>Jacob Limaldi<\/strong> of Red Bank took second with a time of 29.93, while\u00a0<strong>Chad Cummings<\/strong> of Butler was third with a 29.97.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jessica Horomanski<\/strong> of Middle Tyger grabbed first in the women&#8217;s 400-meter IM with a 4:58.82, dropping 3.48 seconds from her prelims time of 5:02.30.\u00a0<strong>Annika Wagner\u00a0<\/strong>of Leaning Tower finished second with a time of 5:00.95. Northwest&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Megan Tacik<\/strong> was third with a time of 5:01.07.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Abbey Erwin\u00a0<\/strong>of Downtown Boise won the women&#8217;s 200-meter free with a final time of 2:03.95. Northwest&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Rachel Brown\u00a0<\/strong>took second overall with a time of 2:04.01, while\u00a0<strong>Jenny Nusbaum\u00a0<\/strong>of Triangle Area was third with a 2:04.82.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hank Siefert<\/strong> of Coffman and\u00a0<strong>Zach Apple\u00a0<\/strong>of Great Miami Valley kept it close in the men&#8217;s 200-meter free\u00a0with Apple leading for the first 100-meters of the race. Siefert was able to kick it in gear in the final 100 meters to catch Apple and pass him for the win. Siefert finished first \u00a0with a time of 1:52.64, while Apple took second with a 1:52.75.
