Great Britain took down the world record in the mixed 400 medley relay at the 2015 FINA World Championships.<\/p>\n

Great Britain’s Chris Walker-Hebborn<\/strong> (52.94), Adam Peaty<\/strong> (57.98), Siobhan Marie O’Connor<\/strong> (57.02) and Fran Halsall<\/strong> (53.77) put together a time of 3:41.71 for the top time. \u00a0That swim broke the preliminary world record of 3:42.33 set by Team USA.<\/p>\n

The Australians entered today with the world record at 3:46.52. Russia, USA and Great Britain then took turns dropping the world record.<\/p>\n

USA could not replicate its preliminary speed. \u00a0Ryan Murphy<\/strong> (53.31), Kevin Cordes<\/strong> (58.63), Katie McLaughlin<\/strong> (57.56) and Margo Geer<\/strong> (53.77) took second in 3:43.27.<\/p>\n

Germany’s Jan-Philip Glania<\/strong> (53.52), Hendrik Feldwehr<\/strong> (59.16), Alexandra Wenk<\/strong> (57.21) and Annika Bruhn<\/strong> (54.24) took bronze in 3:44.13.<\/p>\n

China (3:44.65), Russia (3:44.83), Italy (3:45.59), Canada (3:46.23) and Hungary (3:50.06) also swam in the finale.<\/p>\n

Vlad Morozov<\/strong>, swimming with some extra motivation after a stunning false start disqualification in the men’s 100-meter free, anchored Russia with a 47.29.<\/p>\n
