She was also <a href=http:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/emily-seebohm-looking-for-new-coach\/ target=_blank>looking for a new coach<\/a>, but all seems to be in sync for the 23-year-old.<\/p>\n<p>She spent the time in the ready room with a positive attitude, and she said that was a big help before walking out to race.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI went in there tonight, and I smiled, I laughed, I had fun with the girls,\u201d she said. \u201cThat\u2019s what I had forgotten. I was taking it too seriously and not enjoying every moment that I had. I\u2019m over the moon because I got to enjoy every second of it. I wasn\u2019t terrified, I wasn\u2019t nervous.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She was able to give a lot of comforting advice to teammate <strong>Madison Wilson<\/strong>, who was racing in her first major international final and finished second.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know she was really nervous last night being in lane four,\u201d Seebohm said. \u201cI told her to just take your time and enjoy it. Something I would have done back in the day was I wouldn\u2019t wear tracksuit pants because I\u2019d be too nervous that they\u2019d start without me. As you get older and you experience it, it\u2019s easier to enjoy those moments.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Something else that helped Seebohm during the race was singing the song \u201cI Am A Girl\u201d to herself during the first 50 meters.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s about kicking (butt) and being a girl,\u201d she said. \u201cSo, I thought that was very
