Hit refresh for the latest coverage.<\/p>\n<h3>Event Schedule<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Women&#8217;s 200\u00a0IM<\/li>\n<li>Men&#8217;s 200\u00a0IM<\/li>\n<li>Women&#8217;s\u00a01500 free<\/li>\n<li>Women&#8217;s 50 free<\/li>\n<li>Men&#8217;s 50 free<\/li>\n<li>Men&#8217;s\u00a0800 free<\/li>\n<li>Women&#8217;s 400 medley\u00a0relay<\/li>\n<li>Men&#8217;s 400 medley relay<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 200 IM<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ella Eastin<\/strong> started the night off right by taking down <strong>Missy Franklin<\/strong>&#8216;s meet record in the A final. Her time of 2:12.32 bested Franklin&#8217;s mark of 2:12.73. Eastin lead the race from start to finish. Her breaststroke split is what set her apart from the rest of the heat, as well as Franklin&#8217;s 2009 swim.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Eastin&#8217;s Splits: 28.53, 32.99, 38.93, 31.87<\/p>\n<p>Franklin&#8217;s Splits (2009): 28.74, 32.88, 39.63, 31.48<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Eastin was followed by <strong>Kim Williams<\/strong> in 2:15.31 and <strong>Miranda Tucker<\/strong> in 2:16.92. <strong>Regan Barney<\/strong> (2:17.01), <strong>Makayla Sargent<\/strong> (2:17.54) and <strong>Dannie Dilsaver<\/strong> (2:18.53) rounded out the heat. Both <strong>Katie Drabot<\/strong> and <strong>Evie Pfeifer<\/strong> were disqualified in the A final.<\/p>\n<p>Triangle&#8217;s <strong>Julia Poole<\/strong> got a best time and an Olympic Trials cut in the B final of this event. Her 39.0 breaststroke split surged her ahead of the field. She won the heat in 2:17.54. Nashville Aquatic&#8217;s <strong>Alex Walsh<\/strong> made another statement on night 5, claiming the C final in 2:15.84. This gets her an Olympic Trials cut, and the third fastest time ever in this event for 13-14 year olds.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 200 IM<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Michael Andrew<\/strong> stole the show once again in the men&#8217;s 200 IM. His 2:00.59 bested the nearest competitor by two full seconds. This was<strong>\u00a0Mark Andrew<\/strong> in 2:02.60, followed by <strong>Sean Grieshop<\/strong> (2:02.99) and <strong>Thomas Dillinger<\/strong> (2:03.19). Michael Andrew&#8217;s fly and back splits set him up way ahead of the field. Even though Mark Alexander and Grieshop out-split Michael Andrew in the freestyle, it was not enough to catch the 200 IM champion.\u00a0<strong>Nick Alexander<\/strong> (2:04.08), <strong>Daniel Gloude<\/strong> (2:04.73), <strong>Tommy Cope<\/strong> (2:05.24) and <strong>Nick Milikich<\/strong> (2:06.06) also competed in the A final.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8216;Aukai Lilekis<\/strong> took the B final in 2:04.29, while North Baltimore&#8217;s <strong>Cole Buese<\/strong> won the C final in 2:04.31. Both of these swimmers achieved Olympic Trials cuts with their swims.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 1500 free<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Isabella Rongione<\/strong> of Nation&#8217;s Capital had a perfect meet winning her only race of the week. She went 16:29.41 to take the event, dominating from start to finish. <strong>Joy Field<\/strong> of Magnolia Aquatics was second in 16:35.80, while 16:44.07 <strong>Kahra Williams<\/strong>\u00a0took third with her swim from the morning heats.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Erin Emery<\/strong> (16:44.99), <strong>Cassy Jernberg<\/strong> (16:46.37), <strong>Spence Atkins<\/strong> (16:46.76), <strong>Kendall Brent<\/strong> (16:47.81) and <strong>Madelyn Donohoe<\/strong> (16:49.10) rounded out the top eight finishers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 50 free<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Another one of Missy Franklin&#8217;s meet records went down as <strong>Marta Ciesla<\/strong> swam a 25.07 in the A final. Franklin&#8217;s record was a 25.23 from 2009. Ciesla put her head down at the finish and got her hand on the wall first just ahead of <strong>Katrina Konopka<\/strong>, who was also under the meet record at 23.12. She was followed by <strong>Anya Goeders<\/strong> (25.52) and <strong>Kasey Schmidt<\/strong> (25.63).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Daria Pyshnenko<\/strong> took the B final in 25.80, and <strong>Lexie Lupton<\/strong> won the C final in 26.04. Both swims were under the Olympic Trials standard.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 50 free<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Michael Andrew dominated yet another event on night five. Andrew swam ahead of the field around the 25 meter mark and never let up through the finish. His time of 22.34 set a new National Age Group Record for 15-16 year olds, beating the old mark set by <strong>Caleb Dressel<\/strong> (22.39) in 2013. Not far behind was <strong>Maxime Rooney<\/strong>, who also broke the 23 second barrier going a 22.99. <strong>James William Jones<\/strong> (23.05) was third, while <strong>Albert Gwo<\/strong> (23.12) was fourth. <strong>Dean Farris<\/strong> and <strong>Billy Beard<\/strong> tied for fifth in 23.16, followed by <strong>Tyler Harper<\/strong> (23.29) and <strong>Will Davis<\/strong> (23.32).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Oliver Patrouch<\/strong> of Badger Swim Club won the B final in 23.25. <strong>Michael Jenson<\/strong> was a bit faster to win the C final in 23.03.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 800 free<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Logan Houck<\/strong> of Sandpipers just missed Chad La Tourette&#8217;s meet record of 8:01.75. But his time of 8:02.42 was fast enough to get the win over <strong>Chris Yeager<\/strong> (8:05.93) and <strong>Taylor Abbott <\/strong>(8:06.35), both of Nitro Swimming.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cody Bekemeyer<\/strong> (8:09.35), <strong>Aaron Apel<\/strong> (8:09.46), <strong>Jack Mcintyre<\/strong> (8:10.70), <strong>Danny Erlenmeyer<\/strong> (8:10.90) and <strong>Simon Lamar<\/strong> (8:11.14) placed fourth through eighth in the event.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 400 medley relay<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nashville Aquatic Club&#8217;s team of <strong>Alex Walsh<\/strong>, <strong>Ella Nelson<\/strong>, <strong>Allie Raab<\/strong> and <strong>Julia-Jane Eskew<\/strong> had the slight edge over SwimMAC Carolina to win this event. Their time of 4:12.53 edged out <strong>Stephanie Nelson<\/strong>, <strong>Meghan Dupay<\/strong>, <strong>Alyssa Marsh<\/strong> and <strong>Erika Brown<\/strong> who swam a 4:12.71. Palo Alto was not far behind in third with a 4:12.95. Brown and <strong>Isabella Henig<\/strong> of Palo Alto out-split Eskew, but it was not enough to get the victory.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 400 medley relay<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Upper Dublin Aquatic Club finished off a successful meet by breaking the meet record in the 400 medley relay. The team of <strong>Alessandro Boratto<\/strong>, <strong>Wyatt Amdor<\/strong>, <strong>Michael Thomas<\/strong> and <strong>Michael Jensen<\/strong> broke the previous record set by Palo Alto last year, with their swim of 3:44.83.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>UDAC Splits: 57.14, 1:04.52, 53.78, 49.39<\/p>\n<p>PASA Splits: 58.01, 1:03.63, 53.61, 50.61<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Boratto and Jensen&#8217;s splits set UDAC apart from PASA, clearing the record by by a full second. King Aquatic Club&#8217;s team of <strong>Thomas Anderson<\/strong>, <strong>Mitch Hovis<\/strong>, <strong>Mathias Oh<\/strong> and <strong>Koppi Kolyvek<\/strong> were .4 seconds off the old record themselves, and were the leaders at the 300 mark. But Jensen was the only swimmer to split under 50 seconds, securing his team&#8217;s victory.
