Peaty was six tenths slower than his world record of 57.92 that he set in April at the British nationals.<\/p>\n<p>Peaty said he has come a long way since beginning world with coach <strong>Melanie Marshall<\/strong> six years ago. Not only has his physical performance improved greatly, but his approach to the sport has changed radically.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was close to quitting back then because I didn\u2019t really like (the sport),\u201d he said. \u201cIf you asked me six years ago (if I could win a world championship title), I would have gone, \u2018No
