Pine Crest Swimming\u2019s <strong>Marta Ciesla<\/strong> had the standout swim of the morning in the women\u2019s 50 freestyle when she cut several tenths from her entry time with a 25.31, only eight one-hundredths off Missy Franklin\u2019s 2009 meet record (25.23).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women\u2019s 200 IM<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SOCAL Aquatic\u2019s <strong>Ella Eastin<\/strong> maintains her busy schedule with a top seed tonight in the women\u2019s 200 IM. Eastin posted a 2:15.50 prelims swim for the top spot. Hot on her heels is Ozaukee Aquatics\u2019 <strong>Katie Drabot<\/strong> with a 2:15.64. Although both times are fast, it would take an epic finals race for either woman to take down Franklin\u2019s 2:12.73 meet record. Rounding out the top eight are <strong>Kim Williams<\/strong> (2:16.79), <strong>Miranda Tucker<\/strong> (2:17.59), <strong>Regan Barney<\/strong> (2:18.00), <strong>Evie Pfeifer<\/strong> (2:18.31), <strong>Makayla Sargent<\/strong> (2:18.35) and <strong>Dannie Dilsaver<\/strong> (2:18.63).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men\u2019s 200 IM<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Michael Andrew<\/strong> dominated his circle-seeded heat 12 in the 200 IM by nearly three seconds to qualify first in tonight\u2019s finals with a 2:02.51. Andrew is seeded a half-second ahead of second qualifier <strong>Thomas Dillinger<\/strong> (2:03.03) of Greenwich Aquatics and 1.25 seconds faster than third qualifier <strong>Sean Greishop<\/strong> (2:03.76) of Nitro Swimming. Andrew\u2019s morning swim was a few seconds off his 2:01.10 entry time, which is still a far cry from <strong>Kyle Whitaker\u2019s<\/strong> 2:00.07 meet record. Also in the A-final tonight are <strong>Mark Andrew<\/strong> (2:04.58), <strong>Nick Milikich<\/strong> (2:04.93), <strong>Nick Alexander<\/strong> (2:05.15), <strong>Tommy Cope<\/strong> (2:05.19), and <strong>Daniel Gloude<\/strong> (2:05.64).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women\u2019s 50 Freestyle<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It was a fast morning in the women\u2019s 50 freestyle. Pine Crest\u2019s <strong>Marta Ciesla<\/strong> took the top spot from Mako Swim Team\u2019s <strong>Anya Goeders<\/strong> with a 25.31, a time only eight one-hundredth off Franklin\u2019s meet record. Tonight, she will compete for the gold against Y-Spartaquatics\u2019 <strong>Katrina Konopka<\/strong> (25.47), <strong>Goeders<\/strong> (25.84), <strong>Caroline McTaggart<\/strong> (25.85), <strong>Kasey Schmidt<\/strong> (25.92), <strong>Nika Blank<\/strong> (25.95), <strong>Isabelle Henig<\/strong> (26.09) and <strong>Taylor Ruck<\/strong> (26.13).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men\u2019s 50 Freestyle<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Michael Andrew<\/strong> was the only swimmer to clear the coveted 23 second barrier in the 50 freestyle in this morning\u2019s preliminary session. Andrew dominated the field with a 22.56, putting him nearly six tenths ahead of second-seed <strong>Dean Farris<\/strong> (23.12) of Metro Atlanta. This was a season best for Andrew, who entered the meet with a 22.63. Third seed goes to NCAP\u2019s <strong>James William Jones<\/strong> with 23.18. Rounding out the top eight are <strong>Albert Gwo<\/strong> (23.26), <strong>Maxime Rooney<\/strong> (23.27), <strong>Billy Beard<\/strong> (23.34), <strong>Tyler Harper<\/strong> (23.38), and <strong>Will Davis<\/strong> (23.41). The meet record is held by <strong>Vladimir Morozov<\/strong> at a 22.13.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"\/results\/2015-usa-swimming-summer-junior-nationals-day-5-prelims\/usa-age-group\/2015\/July\/29\"
