Though the partisan crowd was cheering for Efimova through the swim, Hardy said she was able to channel that energy for herself.<\/p>\n<p>She also said she has learned to suppress the nervous energy of the first swim of the meet and build on it through the meet. She\u2019ll face Efimova, defending world champion <strong>Ruta Meilutyte<\/strong> and others in tonight\u2019s semifinal.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jessica Hardy is one of
