Edinburgh teammates <strong>Calum Tait<\/strong> and <strong>Nicholas Quinn<\/strong> took second and third place in 2:11.32 and 2:13.25 respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The meet also featured the men&#8217;s 1500 freestyle, where <strong>Daniel Jervis<\/strong> of Swansea Aquatics effortlessly claimed the event in 14:58.98, over 15 seconds ahead of the field. Earning second place was <strong>Jay Lelliott<\/strong> of Bath University in 15:14.66, and in third was <strong>Caleb Hughes<\/strong> of Loughborough in a time of 15:18.46 respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The fastest 400 IM in the women&#8217;s event was posted by 18-year-old <strong>Lucy McKenzie<\/strong> of Stockport Metro. McKenzie just touched out Nova Centurion&#8217;s <strong>Amber Keegan<\/strong> by 0.1 as she claimed victory in a time of 4:45.22, while Keegan closely followed in 4:45.33. Teammate <strong>Rosie Rudin<\/strong> touched in third place in a time of 4:47.09.<\/p>\n<p>In the men&#8217;s disciplinary event, Sunderland&#8217;s <strong>Josef Craig<\/strong> continued his successful meet by grabbing gold in the men&#8217;s 400 freestyle in 4:34.00. Earning silver was <strong>Michael Jones<\/strong> of Loughborough in 4:53.21, and winning the bronze medal was <strong>Jonathon Booth<\/strong> of the Borough of Kirklees, touching in 4:29.12. Craig belongs to category eight, Jones to category seven, and Booth to category nine.<\/p>\n<p>On the women&#8217;s side <strong>Rosie Bancroft<\/strong> of Oxford stole the event in 4:46.88. In second place was <strong>Stephanie Millward<\/strong> of Aquae Sulis in 4:48.10, and in third was <strong>Eleanor Robinson<\/strong> of Northampton. Bancroft belongs to category ten, Millword to category nine, and Robinson to category six.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Joe Elwood<\/strong> posted the fastest time of the evening in the men&#8217;s 100 backstroke. The Loughborough swimmer&#8217;s 54.77 earned him the gold medal ahead of Stirling&#8217;s <strong>Charlie Boldison<\/strong> (55.08) and Sunderland&#8217;s <strong>Jonathon Carlisle<\/strong> (55.87).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kathleen Dawson<\/strong> of Warrington was the only female to go sub 29 seconds in the women&#8217;s 50 backstroke.
