The time standard to beat was 2:34.99.<\/p>\n<p>The evening finals session began with the 400 meter freestyle, where two women swam under the Olympic Trials time standard of 4:17.99. <strong>Erin Emery<\/strong> from the Sandpipers Of Nevada led the pack, finishing with a time of 4:15.73. <strong>Kendall Dawson<\/strong> from Fast Lane Aquatics\u00a0finished second with a time of 4:17.30, while Emery&#8217;s teammate, fourteen-year-old <strong>Erica Sullivan<\/strong>, moved into\u00a0third with a time of 4:18.17.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Logan Hock<\/strong> from the Sandpipers Of Nevada ran away with the men&#8217;s 400 meter freestyle title, finishing with a time of 3:56.02, approximately two and a half seconds under the Olympic Trials cut of 3:58.69. Teammate <strong>Nicholas McDowell<\/strong> grabbed second place with a time of 4:00.59, while <strong>Frederick Schubert<\/strong> was only a tenth behind him with a time of 4:00.69.<\/p>\n<p>The women&#8217;s 100 meter butterfly was won by <strong>Asia Seidt<\/strong> from Lakeside Swim Team\u00a0in a time of 1:00.99, earning her Olympic Trials cut by two tenths. <strong>Molly Sheffield<\/strong> from Burkwood Aquatic Club, Inc\u00a0also swam right under the Olympic Trials time standard of 1:01.19, touching the wall with a time of 1:01.17. <strong>Kaia Grobe<\/strong> finished third with a time of 1:02.13.<\/p>\n<p>The top two finishers in the men&#8217;s 100 meter butterfly also went Olympic Trials cuts, going under the time standard of 54.79. <strong>Camden<\/strong> <strong>Murphy<\/strong> from Kingfish Aquatic Club of Water\u00a0won the event with a time of 53.79, while <strong>Ryan Huizing<\/strong> from Northwest Aquatic Club Swimming\u00a0claimed second with a time of 54.61. Third place went to <strong>Jon Burkett<\/strong>, who finished with a time of 54.98.<\/p>\n<p>In the men&#8217;s 200 meter breaststroke, <strong>Jacob Montague<\/strong> from Grosse Pointe Gators\u00a0kept his first place seed from prelims, touching\u00a0with a time of 2:14.37. <strong>Carsten Vissering<\/strong> from Nation&#8217;s Capital Swim Club\u00a0did the same, close behind with a time of 2:14.65. Both men were far\u00a0under the Olympic Trials cut of 2:18.39. <strong>Charles Swanson<\/strong> finished third with a time of 2:18.66, meeting the time standard for the 2015 Summer Nationals (2:18.99).<\/p>\n<p>The relay of the evening, the women&#8217;s 800 meter freestyle relay, was won easily by\u00a0<strong>Monica McGrath<\/strong> (2:04.05), <strong>Asia Seidt<\/strong> (2:03.08), <strong>Bryn Handley<\/strong> (2:04.45), and <strong>Cameron Brown<\/strong> (2:05.84) of\u00a0<strong>Lakeside Swim Team<\/strong>, swimming to a finishing time of 8:17.42.
