The LSCs that attend the Futures at Greensboro are in the northeastern region of the United States, shown on <a href=\"http:\/\/usaswimming.org\/DesktopDefault.aspx?TabId=2660&amp;Alias=Rainbow&amp;Lang=en\" target=\"_blank\">this map<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>One highlight of the night was the women\u2019s 400 meter individual medley. The winner was sixteen-year-old <strong>Katherine Trace<\/strong> from Upper Arlington Swim Club, crushing the field with a time of 4:52.52, a drop of nearly thirteen seconds from her seed time, and an Olympic Trials cut. The Olympic Trials time standard for the women\u2019s 400 IM is 4:54.99. <strong>Jordan Silbert<\/strong> took second with a time of 4:57.74, and <strong>Sarah Giamber<\/strong> grabbed third in a time of 4:58.13.<\/p>\n<p>The evening opened with the women\u2019s 200 meter freestyle, where <strong>Brooke Rubendall<\/strong> from the Marlins of Raleigh edged out the competition with a winning time of 2:03.31, nearly three seconds better than her entry time. <strong>Claire O\u2019Mara<\/strong> squeezed into second place with a time of 2:03.52, while <strong>Hannah Baker<\/strong> rounded out the top three with a finishing time of 2:03.52.<\/p>\n<p>In the men\u2019s 200 meter freestyle, the results were close, but <strong>Hassler<\/strong> <strong>Carroll<\/strong> from Kingfish Aquatic Club\u00a0was the swimmer\u00a0that claimed first place with a time of 1:52.77, dropping a second and a half from his entry time. <strong>Richard Mannix<\/strong> was right behind to grab second with a time of 1:52.94, and <strong>Antonio Lanzi<\/strong> finished third with a time of 1:53.80.<\/p>\n<p>The women\u2019s 100 meter breaststroke was won by thirteen-year-old <strong>Abigail Arens<\/strong> from the Marlins of Raleigh in 1:11.89, only four tenths away from the Olympic Trials time standard. <strong>Carly Fried<\/strong> raced into second with a finishing time of 1:12.72, while <strong>Emily Sykes<\/strong> moved into third place with a time of 1:12.95, only two tenths ahead of fourth place.<\/p>\n<p>In the men\u2019s 100 meter breaststroke, Lionville Community YMCA\u2019s <strong>Greg Grewal<\/strong> won with a time of 1:03.17, under the Olympic Trials cut of 1:03.69. <strong>Brian Ramsey<\/strong> swam into second with a time of 1:03.90, while <strong>Kile Aukerman<\/strong> touched third with a time of 1:04.20.<\/p>\n<p>The women\u2019s 100 meter butterfly was a tight race as well, with unaffiliated <strong>Andrea<\/strong> <strong>Hillen<\/strong> from the state of North Carolina winning with a time of 1:02.12. Close behind was <strong>Krystal<\/strong> <strong>Lara<\/strong> with a time of 1:02.23, while fourteen-year-old <strong>Jing-e Tan<\/strong> stole third with a time of 1:02.68.<\/p>\n<p>On the men\u2019s side, <strong>Lucas Reisch<\/strong> from Fairport Area Swim Team also went under the Olympic Trials time standard of 54.79, winning finals with a time of 54.48. <strong>Brent<\/strong> <strong>Benedict<\/strong> took second in a time of 55.24, while <strong>Thomas Kealy<\/strong> finished third with a time of 55.28.<\/p>\n<p>The men\u2019s 400 meter individual medley was a close race, but it was won by <strong>Dylan<\/strong> <strong>Cudahy<\/strong>, representing Machine Aquatics, with a time of 4:28.21. Right behind him was <strong>Charles Barry<\/strong> in a time of 4:28.38, while <strong>Michael Craddock<\/strong> moved up into third place with a finishing time of 4:28.89.<\/p>\n<p>The women\u2019s 400 meter freestyle relay was won by <strong>Hannah Baker<\/strong> (57.31), <strong>Suzanne Dolan<\/strong> (57.99), <strong>Chloe Hicks<\/strong> (59.03), and <strong>Fiona Muir<\/strong> (57.97), representing <strong>Machine Aquatics<\/strong>. The team raced to a combined time of 3:52.30. Second went to <strong>Asphalt Green Unified Aquatics<\/strong> with a time of 3:53.94, while the <strong>Marlins of Raleigh<\/strong> finished third in a time of 3:56.19.<\/p>\n<p>The men\u2019s 400 meter freestyle relay concluded the second finals session of the meet, with the <strong>Scarlet Aquatics<\/strong> team of <strong>Christopher Wang<\/strong> (53.57), <strong>Eric Wong<\/strong> (53.19), <strong>Karl Sarier<\/strong> (52.61), and <strong>Trevor<\/strong> <strong>Leland<\/strong> (54.71) holding off the competition with a time of 3:34.08.
