The matchup would be the latest Duel in the Pool, replacing the USA vs. Australia clashes that have seen the Americans win handily in each of the three meetings.<\/p>\n
According to an unnamed source close to the discussion, this competition against Europe has been in the works for a long time and 2009 is likely to be the start.<\/p>\n
With a full continent from which to draw talent, a USA vs. Europe faceoff would be highly intriguing.
