The Red Foxes\u2019 men\u2019s and women\u2019s squads will compete in eight dual meets and one invitational during the regular season.<\/p>\n<p>The 2015-16 campaign begins with the annual intrasquad scrimmage, the Red &amp; White Challenge, which will be held at <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1656915869\"><span class=\"aQJ\">11 a.m.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1656915870\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Oct. 10<\/span><\/span> in McCann Natatorium. An <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1656915871\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Oct. 16<\/span><\/span> meet at Canisius kicks off the regular season followed by consecutive home contests against Fordham on <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1656915872\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Oct. 22<\/span><\/span> and Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference rival Fairfield on <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1656915873\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Nov. 6<\/span><\/span>. Marist will face off against the Rams and Stags at <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1656915874\"><span class=\"aQJ\">6 p.m.<\/span><\/span> in both meets. Along with Loyola, Fordham was one of only two schools to defeat the Red Foxes\u2019 women\u2019s team last season.<\/p>\n<p>In the final competitions of the 2015 calendar year, Marist will travel to Rider for a <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1656915875\"><span class=\"aQJ\">1 p.m.<\/span><\/span> contest <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1656915876\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Nov. 14<\/span><\/span> and face Loyola as well as conference foes Iona and Saint Peter\u2019s at the H2ounds Invitational on <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1656915877\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Dec. 4 and 5<\/span><\/span>. The Broncs\u2019 men\u2019s team handed Marist its only MAAC loss last season and is the defending conference champion. Rider\u2019s women have finished second to the Red Foxes at the MAAC Championships for seven of the last eight years.<\/p>\n<p>The Red Foxes begin 2016 with a string of four non-conference meets, all held Saturdays at <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1656915878\"><span class=\"aQJ\">1 p.m.<\/span><\/span> from <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1656915879\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Jan. 9-30<\/span><\/span>. After traveling to Southern Connecticut State, Marist hosts Boston College on <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1656915880\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Jan. 16<\/span><\/span> and Seton Hall on <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1656915881\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Jan. 23<\/span><\/span>. A dual meet at Binghamton on <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1656915882\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Jan. 30<\/span><\/span> concludes the regular season.<\/p>\n<p>Postseason competition begins with the MAAC Championships, which will be held from <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1656915883\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Feb. 10-13<\/span><\/span> at Erie Community College in Buffalo, N.Y. The women will look to capture their seventh straight conference title after earning 860 points in their largest margin of victory in program history in 2015. The men finished a close second with 635.50 points.<\/p>\n<p>The Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships are slated for <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1656915884\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Feb. 26-28<\/span><\/span> in Annapolis, Maryland. Marist was one of only eight schools to have representation from men\u2019s and women\u2019s swimmers and divers at last year\u2019s regional conference meet. The Red Foxes finished in fifth place on both sides.<\/p>\n<p>Divers who earn a spot at the NCAA Zone Qualifier Diving Championships will head to the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, from <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1656915885\"><span class=\"aQJ\">March 7-9<\/span><\/span>. The NCAA Swimming Championships will be held at Georgia Tech Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Georgia, with the women\u2019s meet set for <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1656915886\"><span class=\"aQJ\">March 17-19<\/span><\/span> and the men competing from<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1656915887\"><span class=\"aQJ\">March 24-26<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>During the 2015-16 season Marist will be captained by senior\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.goredfoxes.com\/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=205701313&amp;DB_OEM_ID=27700\" target=\"_blank\">Josh Dodway<\/a>\u00a0and junior\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.goredfoxes.com\/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=208771763&amp;DB_OEM_ID=27700\" target=\"_blank\">Ryan Murphy<\/a>\u00a0on the men\u2019s side while seniors\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.goredfoxes.com\/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=205704610&amp;DB_OEM_ID=27700\" target=\"_blank\">Bridget Curley<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.goredfoxes.com\/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=205704614&amp;DB_OEM_ID=27700\" target=\"_blank\">Renata Diotalevi<\/a>, and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.goredfoxes.com\/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=205704749&amp;DB_OEM_ID=27700\" target=\"_blank\">Bethany Powhida<\/a>\u00a0will lead the women.
