Jean Troy, 80, eclipsed three women's 80-84 world standards. She clocked a 3:26.52 in the 200 free to lower the 3:27.57 set by Margery Meyer of the U.S. in 2002. Troy also lowered the 100 IM time of 2:00.15 set by Chie Tani of Japan in 2006 with a 1:56.65. Troy then surpassed the 4:22.29 posted by Lois Kivi Nochman of the U.S. in 2005 with a 4:07.66 in the 200 IM.<\/p>\n
In relay action, the North Carolina Masters Swimming foursome of Jonathan Klein, 50, (29.56), Jon Blank, 47, (30.51), Timothy Lehman, 50, (27.24) and Robert Schmitz, 55, (26.61) set the men's 200-239 200 medley relay world record with a time of 1:53.92.
