Tucson Ford Aquatic&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Masa Kishida<\/strong> claimed second with a 53.14, while Cal&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Justin Lynch<\/strong> took a close third with a 53.16.<\/p>\n<p><b>Top Ten World Rankings: 100 Fly<\/b><\/p>\n[table \u201c\u201d not found \/]<br \/>\n\n<p>Cal&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Farida Osman<\/strong> bested the competition in the women&#8217;s 100-meter fly with a final time of 58.76 during finals of day four at the Los Angeles Invite. Teammate\u00a0<strong>Kelly Naze<\/strong> finished second with time of 59.93, dropping .40 seconds from her prelims time of 1:00.33. Aquazot&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Eva Merrell<\/strong> finished third with a 1:00.04.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alexandra Wooden<\/strong>, swimming unattached, took gold in the women&#8217;s 1500-meter free with a final time of 17:04.21.\u00a0Centro Actuatico De Alto&#8217;s teammates\u00a0<strong>Bianca Daniela Luna Rocha\u00a0<\/strong>(17:12.63) and <strong>Martha Ruth Aguilar Ortega<\/strong> (17:12.70) finished second and third respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Tucson Ford Aquatic&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ty Fowler<\/strong> claimed the men&#8217;s 800-meter free with a time of 8:12.95.\u00a0<strong>Parks Jones<\/strong>, swimming unattached, was second with a final time of 8:14.60, while Tucson Ford Aquatic&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Christopher Wieser<\/strong> finished third with a 8:17.35.<\/p>\n<p>Team Bruin&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Madison White\u00a0<\/strong>took first in the women&#8217;s 100-meter back with a finishing time of 1:01.80. Stanford&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ally Howe<\/strong> grabbed second with a 1:02.30, while SoCal&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ella Eastin<\/strong> was a close third with a 1:02.40.<\/p>\n<p>Cal&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ryan Murphy<\/strong>\u00a0posted a 53.64 in the men&#8217;s 100-meter back to take first. Tucson Ford Aquatic&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Matt Grevers<\/strong> finished second overall with a 54.07, while Trojan Swim Club&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Luca Spinazzola<\/strong> rounded out the top three with a 55.58.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sarah Haase<\/strong> of Stanford came out on top in the women&#8217;s 100-meter breaststroke with a 1:08.59.\u00a0<strong>Emma Schoettmer<\/strong> of Tucson Ford Aquatics posted a 1:09.08 for second, and Guacho Aquatic&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Charis Hoppe<\/strong> finished third with a 1:11.62.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Brendan McHugh<\/strong> of Greater Philadelphia Aquatics was victorious in the men&#8217;s 100-meter breaststroke finishing with a time of 1:01.40. Coca-Cola&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kosuke Kitajima\u00a0<\/strong>grabbed second with a 1:01.35, while Trojan Swim Club&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Steven Stumph<\/strong>\u00a0claimed third with a 1:02.58.<\/p>\n<p>Cal&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Camille Cheng\u00a0<\/strong>grabbed first in the women&#8217;s 200-meter free with a final time of 2:00.88, dropping 1.48 seconds from her prelims time of 2:02.36. Tucson Ford Aquatic&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Margo Geer<\/strong> took second with a 2:02.12, while Cal&#8217;s <b>Rachael Acker<\/b> rounded out the top three with a 2:04.41.<\/p>\n<p>Kitajima moved up to take first in the men&#8217;s 200-meter IM posting a final time of 2:02.42.
