Canada clinched the first gold medal of synchronized swimming at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto.<\/p>\n

The duo of Jacqueline Simoneau<\/strong> and Karine Thomas<\/strong> put together a finals session of 90 points to win gold.<\/p>\n

Mexico’s Karem Achach<\/strong> and Nuria Diosdado<\/strong> earned silver with 86.3667 points, while Mariya Koroleva<\/strong> and Alison Williams<\/strong> claimed bronze for the U.S. with 83.8667 points.<\/p>\n
