Adrian bested Morozov and the competition with a swift 22.09, only .12 seconds off his world best of 21.97 for 2015. Morozov turned in a 22.68, just over a second off of his 2015 world best of 21.65, for second.\u00a0<strong>Nikita Lobintsev<\/strong> was third with a 22.68.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sonia Wang<\/strong> finished first in prelims of the women&#8217;s 200-meter IM with a 2:17.47.\u00a0<strong>Kim Williams<\/strong> grabbed a close second with a 2:17.83, while\u00a0<strong>Ella Eastin<\/strong> claimed third with a 2:17.85.<\/p>\n<p>Lobintsev posted a 1:51.76 to claim the first-place seed in the men&#8217;s 200-meter free. Cal&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ryan Murphy<\/strong> was a close second with a final time of 1:51.86.\u00a0<strong>Spencer Goodman<\/strong> rounded out the top three with a 1:52.30.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Emma Schoettmer<\/strong> of Tucson Ford Dealers Aquatics and\u00a0<strong>Rami Dvariskyte\u00a0<\/strong>of Trojan Swim Club kept a close race in the women&#8217;s 200-meter breaststroke. Schoettmer was able to pull ahead and best Dvariskyte by .10 seconds, finishing with a time of 2:32.03 over Dvariskyte&#8217;s 2:32.13.\u00a0<strong>Emma Schanz\u00a0<\/strong>was third with a 2:33.00.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Schoettmer &amp; Dvariskyte 200 Breast Splits<\/strong><\/p>\n[table \u201c\u201d not found \/]<br \/>\n\n<p><strong>Steven Stumph<\/strong> triumphed over the competition in prelims of the men&#8217;s 200-meter breaststroke, posting a 2:13.44 to claim the first-place seed.\u00a0<strong>Kiosk Kitajiima\u00a0<\/strong>finished second with a 2:14.19, while\u00a0<strong>Brendan McHugh<\/strong>\u00a0took third with a 2:15.09.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Margo Geer\u00a0<\/strong>dominated the women&#8217;s 50-meter free with a swift 25.17.\u00a0<strong>Farida Osman<\/strong> was the only other competitor to swim under the 26 second mark with a time of 25.55.\u00a0<strong>Melissa Gates<\/strong> was third with a 26.16.<\/p>\n<p>First in the women&#8217;s 400-meter free went to\u00a0<strong>Maddie Meisel<\/strong> and her 4:20.88, a .90 second drop from her entry time of 4:21.78.\u00a0<strong>Riley Spitser\u00a0<\/strong>took second with a 4:21.21, while\u00a0<strong>Brittany Kampfer<\/strong> rounded out the top three with a 4:21.65.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/results\/2015-los-angeles-invite-live-results\/usa-senior-national\/2015\/July\/9\" target=\"_blank\">2015 Los Angeles Invite, Live Results &#8211; Results<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cal&#8217;s\u00a0Nathan Adrian\u00a0and Trojan Swim Club&#8217;s\u00a0Vlad Morozov\u00a0faced off again this morning in the 50-meter free during prelims of day three at the Los Angeles Invite.
