Finals began with <strong>Mimosa Jallow<\/strong> crushing the 100 backstroke in a time of 1:00.75. She was three seconds ahead of her closest competitor.<\/p>\n<p>In the men&#8217;s 100 backstroke,\u00a0<strong>Janne Markkanen<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0\u00a0<strong>Valtteri Halonen<\/strong>\u00a0kept the excitement going by tying in 57.79 seconds. Halonen led by .13 at the 50, but could not get the edge to claim victory.<\/p>\n<p>The women&#8217;s 100 butterfly was won by\u00a0<strong>Emilia Pikkarainen<\/strong>\u00a0in 59.79 seconds. She was followed by\u00a0<strong>Nea Norismaa<\/strong>\u00a0(1:01.28)<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Margaret Markvardt<\/strong> (1:02.63). For the men, the event was taken by\u00a0<strong>Tuomas Pokkinen\u00a0<\/strong>(54.48).\u00a0<strong>Tony Eriksson<\/strong>\u00a0was second in 55.42 and <strong>Tuomas Kiviluoma<\/strong> took third in 55.68.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eveliina Pihkam\u00e4ki\u00a0<\/strong>dominated the women&#8217;s 400 freestyle right from the start. Her time of 4:28.14 bested\u00a0<strong>Vaula Vekkeli<\/strong>\u00a0by six seconds. The men&#8217;s race was done similarly, with\u00a0<strong>Eetu Piiroinen<\/strong>\u00a0crushing the field in 3:57.00. <strong>Miro Torola<\/strong> took second in 4:08.24.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Filipp Provorkov<\/strong> outlasted\u00a0<strong>Lassi Ohtonen<\/strong>\u00a0in the men&#8217;s 50 breaststroke. Their times were 28.26 and 28.84, respectively. The women&#8217;s race was won by\u00a0<strong>Jenna Laukkanen, <\/strong>who\u00a0got to the wall first in 31.13.<\/p>\n<p>The meet concluded with the anticipated 50 freestyle. For the men,\u00a0<strong>Ari-Pekka Liukkonen<\/strong>\u00a0dominated the sprint winning in 22.07.
