Kawecki already owns a spot higher though, posting a 1:56.38 earlier this year at the Polish Senior Championships, leaving only .49 seconds\u00a0in difference between the two races.\u00a0<strong>Gabor Balog\u00a0<\/strong>took second with a 1:57.76, while\u00a0<strong>Luca Mencarini<\/strong> claimed third with a 1:57.90. Balog and Mencarini earned themselves fifteenth and sixteenth in the world rankings respectively.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Top Ten World Rankings: Men&#8217;s 200 Back<\/strong><\/p>\n[table \u201c\u201d not found \/]<br \/>\n\n<p><strong>Krisztian Takacs<\/strong> led prelims of the men&#8217;s 50-meter free with a time of 23.12.\u00a0<strong>Maxim Lovanovszkij\u00a0<\/strong>grabbed the second-place seed, while\u00a0<strong>Mohamed Ismail Mohamed Mazen<\/strong>\u00a0was a close third with a 23.29.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Peter Holuda<\/strong> stepped up in semi-finals to grab the first-place seed with a time of 22.88.\u00a0<strong>Richard Bohus<\/strong> joined him up at the top with a 22.92 for second, while Takacs slipped to third with a 23.00.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Elena Gemo<\/strong> led the women&#8217;s 50-meter fly in prelims with a 27.21.\u00a0<strong>Evelyn Verraszto\u00a0<\/strong>took second with a 27.54, and\u00a0<strong>Silvia Di Pietro<\/strong> rounded out the top three with a 27.63.<\/p>\n<p>Di Pietro succeeded in dropping 1.18 seconds from her prelims time of 27.63 to snag the first-place seed with a 26.45. Gemo moved to second with a 26.64. Verraszto was third with a 27.12.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bence Pulai\u00a0<\/strong>posted a 52.97 in prelims of the men&#8217;s 100-meter fly to take\u00a0the first-place seed.\u00a0<strong>Michael Rubacek<\/strong> was second with a 54.17, while <b>Omar Ahmed Mohamed Eissa<\/b>\u00a0finished third with a 54.21.<\/p>\n<p>Pulai maintained his lead throughout semi-finals with a time of 52.88.\u00a0<strong>Tamas Kenderesi\u00a0<\/strong>moved up to second with a 53.36, while\u00a0<strong>Laszlo Cseh<\/strong>\u00a0claimed third with a 53.45. Cseh is currently ranked thirteenth in the world rankings with a scorching 51.97.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Katalin Burian\u00a0<\/strong>led the women in prelims of the 200-meter back touching with a time of 2:14.34.\u00a0<strong>Zsuzsanna Jakabos<\/strong> claimed the second-place seed with a 2:16.84, while\u00a0<strong>Dalma Matyasovsky<\/strong> took third with a 2:17.34.<\/p>\n<p>Burian kept the first-place seed with a time of 2:11.29, dropping 3.05 seconds from her prelims time of 2:14.34.\u00a0<strong>Reka Gyorgy\u00a0<\/strong>moved up the second-place seed with a 2:13.92, while Jakabos slipped to third with a time of 2:15.47.<\/p>\n<p>Prelims of the women&#8217;s 800-meter free went to\u00a0<strong>Adel Juhasz\u00a0<\/strong>who led the group with a time of 8:53.08. Teammate\u00a0<strong>Janka Juhasz\u00a0<\/strong>posted an 8:55.32 for second, while\u00a0<strong>Bettina Boszormenyi\u00a0<\/strong>rounded out the top three with a time of 8:55.97.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Erika Ferraoli<\/strong> claimed the win in finals of the women&#8217;s 100-meter free with a time of 54.67. Di Pietro took second overall with a time of 55.17, while Jakabos was third with a 55.30.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ganna Dzerkel\u00a0<\/strong>claimed first in finals of the women&#8217;s 200-meter breaststroke with a time of 2:28.82.\u00a0<strong>Anna Sztankovics<\/strong> finished second with a 2:29.19, while\u00a0<strong>Viktoria Kardos<\/strong>\u00a0took third overall with a 2:32.73.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Daniel Gyurta\u00a0<\/strong>dashed to a first-place finish and the fifteenth-place world ranking in the men&#8217;s 200-meter breaststroke, posting a time of 2:09.84.\u00a0<strong>David Horvath<\/strong> finished second with a 2:13.93, while\u00a0<strong>Edoardo\u00a0<\/strong><b>Georgette<\/b> took third with a final time of 2:15.45.<\/p>\n<p>The day ended with the 800-meter free relay team of\u00a0<strong>Armin\u00a0<\/strong><b>Remenyi, Adam Telegdy, Zoltan Drigan<\/b> and\u00a0<strong>Norbert Szabo<\/strong> of Kobanya Sport Club taking first at the meet and squeezing their way into the Top Twenty world rankings. The relay posted a 7:31.76 to earn the sixteenth-place spot in the world rankings. Egri Uzo Club was second with a 7:39.58, while BVSC Zuglo took third with a 7:39.91.<\/p>\n<p><a
