The Mission Viejo Nadadores have just reassigned Coach T Sorenson<\/strong> to help Coach Bill Rose<\/strong> with some of the administrative aspects associated with helping the Mission Viejo Nadadores run smoothly.<\/p>\n

This will help ensure that the Mission Viejo Nadadores continue to be a world class organization. Some of the duties will include personnel management, business operations, program supervision, facility maintenance and development, event planning and oversight, and communication.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am honored that Coach Rose considered me for this reassignment and am looking forward to the challenges it will provide. I will, of course, miss all of the wonderful people I have had the pleasure to coach, but know that they will be in good care with their new coaches,\u201d Coach T said.<\/p>\n

In addition to her coaching experience, Coach T has a doctorate in leadership, policy and administration and six years of experience leading public schools in Minnesota.<\/p>\n

Prior to joining the Nadadores, she was the superintendent of the Independent School District 507 in Nicollet, MN. She has led successful levy campaigns to increase school funding, assisted with construction planning and oversight, and led initiatives that have resulted in improved student performance.<\/p>\n

In addition, she has served public schools in Minnesota as K-12 principal, activities director, teacher, coach, and advisor.<\/p>\n

Prior to her work in public education, Coach T was a marketing manager for Medtronic, a multi-national medical device company, and had served as assistant editor for the publications of the American Phytopathological Society. Her background in marketing, communications, and leadership make her a strong fit for this new position, especially with the facility improvement project on the horizon.<\/p>\n

Head Coach, Bill Rose stated, \u201cThis is one of the best and most timely assignments in my 22 years as Head Coach of the Nadadores.
