Brazil recently announced its A and B teams for the South American Junior Championships to be held in Caracas, Venezuela from Feb. 28-March 5. Amanda Macedo, Fernanda Felix, Giuliana Gigliotti, J\u00e9ssica Carvalho, Julia Gerotto, J\u00falia Moraes, J\u00falia Volkman, Juliana Kagami, Larissa Oliveira, Marina Bernardini, Sarah Correa and Tathiane Quirino will comprise the women's A team, while Arthur Ramalho, Eduardo Santana, Felipe Cunha, Guilherme Fronho, Hugo Quirin, Lucas Gerotto, Luis Cremonez, Matheus Martini, Murilo Monteiro, Ramon Melo, Vicente Carvalho and Victor Rodrigues make up the men's A team.<\/p>\n
In the B teams, Ana Carolina Azambuja, Daiene Dias, Daynara Paula, Fernanda Moraes, Isabela Castro, J\u00falia Siqueira, Manuella Lyrio, Natalia Favoretto, Rebeca Peppi, Roberta Albino, Thalandra Borges and Veruska Clednev will represent the women, while Alan Silva, Caio Serebranik, C\u00e2ndido da Silva J\u00fanior, Cau\u00ea Silva, Filipe Alc\u00e2ntara, Frederico Veloso, Gabriel Souza, Henrique Rodrigues, Jo\u00e3o de Lucca, Maur\u00edcio Torres, Raphael Santos and Renner Lima will bear the standard for the men.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, a pair of events will take place in Argentina in beach-front venues. First, Necochea will play host to a meet Jan. 27-28, before Pinamar holds a meet Feb. 1-2. The competitions will feature two teams (River Plate \u2013 Neuquen versus Stars) with six swimmers each in a short course meter format.<\/p>\n
River Plate \u2013 Neuquen, coached by Rodolfo Sacco, is made up of Eduardo Otero, Walter Arciprete, (Cavanagh, Caviglia or Barale), Jos\u00e9 Meolans, Gabriel Melconi\u00e1n and Agust\u00edn Fiorilli. Stars, coached by Ra\u00fal Strnad, will feature Joaqu\u00edn Belza, Sergio Ferreyra, Gustavo Paschetta, Dami\u00e1n Roth, Esteban Espinosa and (Gast\u00f3n Rodr\u00edguez or Luciano Sales Rubio).<\/p>\n
