Just two days after initially breaking the national high school record in the 50-yard free, Saugus High’s Abbey Weitzeil was at it again during finals of the CIF Southern Section Division 1 Championships.<\/p>\n

During prelims, Weitzeil popped a time of 21.83 to initially lower her own mark. \u00a0During finals, Weitzeil dropped the mark even lower with a 21.64.<\/p>\n

She still hasn’t cleared her personal best of 21.49 set for Canyons Aquatics that ranks her sixth in the world, but she’s certainly made this high school record a lot tougher to catch up to.<\/p>\n
