Abbey Weitzeil put on a show in her final Foothill League Swimming Championship. Representing Saugus High School, the U.S. National Team member went home with two individual titles. The meet played host to several other high schools in the Santa Clarita Valley area in Los Angeles, California.<\/p>\n

Weitzeil began her Foothill League swan song by cruising to a victory in the girls\u2019 200-yard free in 1:49.10. She led the race in wire-to-wire fashion over standout junior Alyssa Schultz (1:51.48). Weitzeil won despite a slight add from her 1:48.54 seed time.<\/p>\n

In the girls\u2019 100-yard\u00a0back, Weitzeil blazed a 54.68 on her way to first place. Her victory narrowly missed the league meet record already held by Weitzeil.<\/p>\n
