Hanna-Maria Seppala, one of the top Finnish stars of all time as a 2003 world champion, was the star of the show on day two at the Finnish Swimming Nationals.<\/p>\n

Seppala led\u00a0the women’s 100-meter free semis tonight in 56.50. \u00a0Mimosa Jallow wound up second in 56.94. \u00a0 Roosa Mort claimed the third seed in 57.73.<\/p>\n

Kalle Pyvkkonen won the men’s 400-meter IM in 4:32.63 with Miro Torola taking second in 4:35.03. \u00a0Jere Laukkanen placed third in 4:35.15.<\/p>\n

Veera Kivirinta claimed the women’s 50-meter breast title in 31.22 with Jenna Laukkanen placing second in 31.35. Silja Kansakoski snared third in 31.88.<\/p>\n

Christoffer Fredrikson posted a 57.85 to win the men’s 100-meter back. \u00a0Janne Markkanen took second in 58.29 with Sergei Haukka placing third in 58.43.<\/p>\n

Mimosa Jallow snagged the women’s 100-meter back title in 1:02.76, while Lotta Upanne finished second in 1:03.90. \u00a0Carita Luukkanen earned third in 1:03.99.<\/p>\n

Matti Mattsson won the men’s 100-meter breast in 1:02.50 with Lassi Ohtonen taking second in 1:03.23. \u00a0Ari-Pekka Liukkonen snagged third in 1:03.65.<\/p>\n

Tuomas Pokkinen turned in a 53.68 to win the men’s 100-meter fly, just off the Finnish record of 53.08 set by Jere Hard back in 2001. \u00a0Anton Herrala (55.13) and Aleksi Schmid (55.42) finished second and third.<\/p>\n

Laura Lajunen won the women’s 800-meter free in 8:55.40. \u00a0Aino Otava took second in 9:00.56 with Mira Palovuori placing third in 9:20.34.<\/p>\n

Fanny Teijonsalo paced the women’s 50-meter fly semis with a time of 27.35. \u00a0Nea Norismaa took the second seed in 27.66 with Alma Lumio qualifying third in 27.82.<\/p>\n

Andrei Tuomola posted a 23.08 for the top seed out of the men’s 50-meter free semis. \u00a0Ari-Pekka Liukkonen earned the second seed in 23.29 with Tatu Waltari earning the third seed in 23.43.<\/p>\n
