For more information about Agon, visit their website\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.agonswim.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Agonswim.com<\/a>.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Drew Eisen, a senior at Horizon High School in Scottsdale, AZ, has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend the University of Iowa next fall.<\/p>\n<p>Eisen, a finalist in the 500 free at the 2014 Arizona State High School Championships, has had dramatic time drops in the distance races this season, posting US Open, Summer Junior Nationals and Winter Senior National qualifying times in the 1000 free and 1650 free. He won the Central Zone Sectional title in the 1650, and was runner-up in the 1000.<\/p>\n<p>Even more impressive is his progression in the past 12 months:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 2014 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 2015<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>500 Free<\/strong> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a04:42.84 \u00a0 \u00a0 4:32.87<br \/>\n<strong>1000 Free<\/strong> \u00a0 \u00a09:42.87 \u00a0 \u00a0 9:12.80<br \/>\n<strong>1650 Free<\/strong> \u00a0 \u00a016:01.93 \u00a0 15:32.24<\/p>\n<p>His decision to swim for Iowa head coach Marc Long was an easy one.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCoach Long and Coach King made me feel like part of the Iowa swimming community during my visit,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I could tell right away, after meeting a couple guys on the team, that they had a unique, family atmosphere. Their coaching philosophy, training program, and one of the finest aquatic facilities in the country blended well with the academic opportunities offered at the University of Iowa.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Eisen is coached by Lifetime Arizona head coach Nate Moore.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDrew is one of the hardest trainers I have ever seen in my coaching career,&#8221; said Moore. &#8220;He is just scratching the surface of what I believe he will be in the future.
