IN the final day of action at the Kerr-McGee Elite Pro-Am held in Oklahoma City, Okla., from Dec. 15-17, a trio of meet records fell by the way side.<\/p>\n<p><b>Women&#39;s 1650 Freestyle<\/b><br \/>\nAfter finishing second in several events, Sachiko Yamada came through for a first-place check in the distance free in 16:11.66.  That time erased a 12-year-old meet record time of 16:17.80 set by Janet Evans in 1994.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, 17-year-old Micah Martindale placed second in 16:21.08, while Katie Roberts finished third in 16:39.09.<\/p>\n<p><b>Men&#39;s 1650 Freestyle<\/b><br \/>\nRobert Margalis won his fourth event of the meet with a time of 14:52.30.  He nearly wiped out the meet and pool-record time of 14:51.54 set by Chris Thompson in 2004.  Sergiy Fesenko, a student coach at Indiana University, took second in 14:57.29, while Chad La Tourette garnered third in 15:07.66.<\/p>\n<p><b>Women&#39;s 200 Backstroke<\/b><br \/>\nSachiko Yamada earned her second first-place crown in as many events with a time of 1:59.54 in the 200 back.  16-year-old Meghan Dwyer placed second in 2:01.71, while 17-year-old Abigail Mahoney finished third in 2:02.30.<\/p>\n<p><b>Men&#39;s 200 Backstroke<\/b><br \/>\nDoug Van Wie eclipsed an eight-year-old meet and pool record in the 200 back by touching in 1:41.90.  That performance surpassed the 1:42.13 set by Josh Davis in 1998.  <\/p>\n<p>Additionally, David Cromwell placed second in 1:43.84, while Adam Mania took third in 1:44.06.<\/p>\n<p><b>Women&#39;s 100 Freestyle<\/b><br \/>\nLeane Darling touched first in 50.22, while 17-year-old Shara Stafford hit the wall in 50.80 for second.  17-year-old Tara Thomas stopped just .05 seconds behind with a third-place 50.85.  Local swimmer 16-year-old Samantha Woodward nearly picked up third with a fourth-place 50.86.<\/p>\n<p><b>Men&#39;s 100 Freestyle<\/b><br \/>\nNeil Walker turned in a title-winning time of 43.06, while Dale Rogers placed second in 43.73.  Camilo Becerra rounded out the top three in 44.18.<\/p>\n<p><b>Women&#39;s 200 Butterfly<\/b><br \/>\nRachel Komisarz snagged her fourth first-place check with a time of 1:58.17, while Samantha Woodward stopped the clock in 1:59.56 for second.  16-year-old Lisa Lunkenheimer finished third in 2:02.58.<\/p>\n<p><b>Men&#39;s 200 Butterfly<\/b><br \/>\nJayme Cramer smashed the meet and pool record in the 200 fly with a time of 1:43.98.  The previous standard of 1:46.51 set by Joe Montague stood since 2002.  <\/p>\n<p>In other action, David Kahn finished second in 1:49.68, while 17-year-old Robert Looney touched third in 1:50.48.<\/p>\n<p><b>Women&#39;s 100 IM<\/b><br \/>\nMegan Jendrick collected her third title with a time of 55.36.  Tanica Jamison finished just behind in 55.61, while 16-year-old Spindrift Beck placed third in 56.61.<\/p>\n<p><b>Men&#39;s 100 IM<\/b><br \/>\nMark Gangloff won his third title crown with a time of 48.30, while Neil Walker finished second in 48.51.
