The two were followed to the wall by Paige Kremer who also stayed under 27 seconds with a 26.92.<\/p>\n
Santo Condorelli was the men’s champion in the ‘A’ final of the 50 fly touching with a time of 23.80, almost a full second ahead of the competition. Gamal Assaad touched second with a 24.60, while Ben Berg finished third with a 24.73. The ‘B’ final showed quick times with Erik Risolvato (23.75) posting the only other 23 of the event. With Brooklynn Snodgrass, the top seed for the event, unable to attend the meet due to an undisclosed illness, it was Dominique Bouchard who claimed gold with a time of 1:00.20. Bouchard was closely followed by Hillary Caldwell (1:00.54) and Kylie Masse (1:00.73). This gave Martha McCabe the opportunity to grab the win with a 2:24.53. McCabe was followed to the wall by Tera Van Beilen (2:27.76) and Rachel Nicol (2:28.47). McCabe moved to sixth in the world rankings with the swim.<\/p>\n
It was a close finish in the ‘A’ final of the men’s 200 breaststroke with James Dergousoff narrowly out-touching Richard Funk for the win.
