Most athletes who are picked to win an event are not happy when they do not finish in first place, but that was not true for Michigan\u2019s Dylan Bosch in the 200 butterfly at the men\u2019s NCAA championships. The junior said he was pleased that he was able to be a contender for the entire race after logging so many racing yards through the three-day meet. The race strategy he employed, he said, went according to plan, including trying to match Texas\u2019 Jack Conger and Joe Schooling on the underwater dolphin kicks. The points he scored in the 200 butterfly went a long way to helping Michigan place third in the team rankings, which Bosch said is helping him accept the race outcome.<\/p>\n
