page<\/a>.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Southern California edged NC State for the men\u2019s 400-yard free relay title to close out the NCAA Division I Men\u2019s Championships.<\/p>\n<p>USC\u2019s Cristian Quintero, Santo Condorelli, Ralf Tribuntsov and Dylan Carter put up a time of 2:47.06 for the victory. \u00a0Meanwhile, NC State\u2019s Ryan Held, Simonas Bilis, Soeren Dahl and David Williams took second in 2:47.14.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s just a .08 second difference, but doesn\u2019t break the NCAA record for the closest 400-yard free relay in men\u2019s NCAA history.<\/p>\n<p>Texas downed Auburn in 1981 by just .03 seconds, 2:54.84 to 2:54.87.<\/p>\n<p>California\u2019s Tyler Messerschmidt, Seth Stubblefield, Fabio Gimondi and Ryan Murphy earned third overall in
