Danys Rapsys downed his own Lithuanian record during the Lithuanian Winter Championships this week in Alytus.<\/p>\n
Rapsys lowered his own Lithuanian record in the men’s 200-meter free with a 1:47.39. \u00a0That swim jumped him to third in the world rankings behind only James Guy (1:46.94) and Yannick Agnel (1:47.11) and downed his national mark of 1:47.90 from January.<\/p>\n
Rapsys then moved to 12th in the world in the men’s 100-meter back with a 54.42 to win the finale.<\/p>\n
He captured a third title with a 1:58.31 in the men’s 200-meter back, just off his sixth-ranked season best of 1:58.04 from the Speedo Flanders Cup.<\/p>\n
Andrius Sidlauskas moved to 12th in the world with a 28.05 in the men’s 50-meter breast. He also won the 200-meter breast in 2:16.90. \u00a0Sidlauskas then won the men’s 100-meter breast in 1:02.02.<\/p>\n
Greta Gataveckaite won the women’s 400-meter free in 4:31.29. Her second win came by way of a 9:21.96 in the women’s 800-meter free. \u00a0She then won a third title with a 2:09.88 in the women’s 200-meter free.<\/p>\n
Povilas Strazdas touched in 54.18 to win the men’s 100-meter fly. He also won the men’s 200-meter IM in 2:03.35. His third victory came by way of the men’s 100-meter free with a 51.08. A fourth title happened for Strazdas with a 25.25 in the men’s 50-meter fly.<\/p>\n
Vikte Labanauskaite claimed the women’s 50-meter breast in 32.92. She doubled up with a 1:12.45 in the women’s 100-meter breast. \u00a0Her third triumph came with a 2:33.72 in the women’s 200-meter breast as she swept the stroke.<\/p>\n
Ugne Mazutaityte clocked a 1:05.81 to win the women’s 100-meter back. She picked up a second title with a 2:21.59 in the women’s 200-meter back. \u00a0She swept the backstroke with a 30.24 in the women’s 50-meter back.<\/p>\n
Nastassia Karakouskaya claimed the women’s 50-meter free in 26.46. She then doubled up with a 57.73 in the 100-meter free.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Jevgenij Rogozin topped the men’s 50-meter free in 23.37, while Grantas Dapkus turned in a 4:05.49 to win the men’s 400-meter free.<\/p>\n
Gytis Stankevicius posted a 26.38 to win the men’s 50-meter back, while Artur Kudelko claimed a 2:13.31 to win the men’s 200-meter fly.<\/p>\n
Marius Mikalauskas won the men’s 400-meter IM in 4:45.10.<\/p>\n
Giedre Grigonyte won the women’s 50-meter fly in 28.81, while Bena Sarapaite took the women’s 100-meter fly in 1:04.16 and Alina Taran topped the women’s 200-meter fly in 2:30.18.<\/p>\n
Agne Sorakaite took home the women’s 200-meter IM in 2:26.43, while Erika Martisuite won the women’s 400-meter IM in 5:13.39.<\/p>\n
