target=\"_blank\">coverage\u00a0page<\/a>.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Stanford\u2019s Simone Manuel delivered another NCAA and American record with a scorching anchor during the 400-yard free relay at the NCAA Division I Women\u2019s Championships.<\/p>\n<p>Manuel threw down a 45.79 anchor as Lia Neal, Janet Hu, Lindsey Engel and Manuel turned in a stunning time of 3:08.54 for the NCAA and American record and the title.<\/p>\n<p>That swim crushed the NCAA record of 3:09.40 set by Georgia in 2013 as well as the American record of 3:10.63 set by Arizona also in 2013.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s Stanford\u2019s NCAA record 11th victory in the 400 free relay:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1982<\/strong> Stanford (Marybeth Linzmeier, Isabel Reuss, Kelly Asplund, Barb Major), 3:20.98<br
