For full Swimming World coverage, check out our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/2015-ncaa-womens-di-swimming-and-diving-championships\/\" target=\"_blank\">coverage\u00a0page<\/a>.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p>With Stanford looking like it was going to easily defend its 200 free relay title heading into the anchor leg at the NCAA Division I Women&#8217;s Championships, California\u2019s Farida Osman turned in a stunning split\u00a0of 21.17 on the anchor leg as the Golden Bears won the title.<\/p>\n<p>The foursome of Kaylin Bing (22.36), Missy Franklin (21.28), Rachel Bootsma (21.60) and Osman (21.17) clocked a top time of 1:26.41 for the victory.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s California\u2019s first win in the event since 2011, and just the third victory for the Golden Bears in the event all time. \u00a0Previously, Cal won the short course meter event in 2000.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Kaylin Bing, California<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>On winning the national title<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>\u201cIt was my first individual national title, so it felt awesome. The team really stepped up, and it\u2019s a phenomenal experience to have that.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Team started out behind.
