Schanz dropped two seconds from her prelims time to finish with a 1:58.29. Fort Collins&#8217; Bailey Nero finished second with a 1:59.20, while Bellevue Club&#8217;s Kimberly Williams took third with a 1:59.28.<\/p>\n<p>Current Swimming&#8217;s Thomas Brewer claimed first and succeeded in setting a new Western Sectionals record in the 200 IM. His time of 1:46.38 replaces Patrick Mulcare&#8217;s 2014 time of 1:46.51. Cascade Swim Club&#8217;s Abraham Devine finished second with a 1:47.39, while Tommy Thach was third with a 1:48.13.<\/p>\n<p>Dropping six seconds from her prelims time, Adelaide Chambers of King Aquatic Club took first in the 1650 free with a time of 16:58.35. Mackenzie Halligan of Current Swimming touched close behind with a 16:58.50.<\/p>\n<p>Jeffco Hurricane&#8217;s Keegan Foulke grabbed another individual win in the men&#8217;s 1650 free finishing with a time of 15:31.99. He was followed by Aaron Sett (15:34.40) of Foothills Swim Club and Hillsboro Heat&#8217;s Luke Thornbrue (15:49.09).<\/p>\n<p>Gillian St. John of Lobo Aquatic and Ashley Sutherland of King Aquatic raced to a quick finish in the 50 free but it was St. John who won out touching the wall with a 22.86. Sutherland finished right behind her with a 22.92. Oregon City&#8217;s Jillian Visscher rounded out the top three with a 23.01.<\/p>\n<p>King Aquatic&#8217;s Zachary Wagner dashed to victory in the men&#8217;s 50 free. Wagner finished with a time of 20.28. Aulea Swim Club&#8217;s Aukai Lileikis claimed second with a 20.40, while King Aquatic&#8217;s Thomas Anderson took third with a 20.41.<\/p>\n<p>The Fort Collins 400 medley relay team of Zoe Bartel (55.66), Bailey Kovac (1:02.61), Nero (54.32) and Elise Forzley (51.45) finished the meet with a strong first place finish of 3:44.04. King Aquatic Club (3:46.28) and Bellevue (3:47.16) finished second and third respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The men&#8217;s 400 medley relay team of Thomas Anderson (48.77), Mitchell Hovis (55.83), Mathias Oh (48.71) and Wagner (45.26) claimed the gold with a time of 3:18.57.
