CRANBURY, N.J., November 16. EACH week, SwimmingWorldMagazine.com<\/b> will take a look at the schedules for the top-rated squads in the nation according to the dual-meet rankings produced by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America. Here's a glance at this week's slate. <\/p>\n
WOMEN<\/b><\/p>\n
1. California:<\/b> The Golden Bears, guided by coach Teri McKeever, will be in action Friday against Cal-Santa Barbara. <\/p>\n
2. Florida:<\/b> The Gator women knocked off Lousiana State last week and will battle with Florida State on Tuesday. <\/p>\n
3. Stanford:<\/b> One week after dispatching Auburn and Tennessee, the Cardinal will take this week off. Stanford will be in action again at the Texas Invitational from Nov. 30-Dec. 2. <\/p>\n
4. Auburn:<\/b> The Tigers earned a split last week, falling to Stanford while topping Tennessee. This week features a road trip to Alabama. <\/p>\n
5. Arizona:<\/b> Coming off wins over USC and UCLA, the Wildcats will get back to racing at the Texas Invitational from Nov. 30-Dec. 2. <\/p>\n
6. Southern California:<\/b> A loss last week to Arizona was followed by a win over Arizona State. The Trojans will take part in this weekend's Speedo Cup. <\/p>\n
7. Southern Methodist:<\/b> Fresh off a win over North Texas, the Mustangs will be at the Texas A&M Invitational this weekend. <\/p>\n
8. Georgia:<\/b> The Bulldogs had off last week to get prepared for this weekend's meetings with Arkansas and Emory. <\/p>\n
9. Texas A&M:<\/b> The Aggies will host the Texas A&M Invitational this weekend after having last week off. <\/p>\n
10. Michigan:<\/b> The Wolverines bested Ohio State and Princeton last week and are off to the Texas A&M Invitational this weekend. <\/p>\n
MEN <\/p>\n
1. Auburn:<\/b> The reigning NCAA champions, Auburn's men were not in competition last week. But, the Tigers will meet Alabama this week in Southeastern Conference action. <\/p>\n
2. Stanford:<\/b> In competition against California at the Stanford Relays last week, the Cardinal will get after this weekend at the Speedo Cup, running Thursday through Saturday in Long Beach. <\/p>\n
3. Texas:<\/b> The Longhorns collected a win over Florida last week and will be idle until the Texas Invitational from Nov. 30-Dec. 2. <\/p>\n
4. California:<\/b> After racing at last week's Stanford Relays, the Golden Bears will next be in action at the Husky Invitational in early December. <\/p>\n
5. Arizona (tie):<\/b> The Wildcats were bettered by Southern California last week and will look to get back on track at the Texas Invitational (Nov. 30-Dec. 2), where the historically perform well. <\/p>\n
5. Minnesota (tie):<\/b> The Golden Gophers have won their first three meets and will host the Minnesota Invitational from Friday through Sunday. <\/p>\n
7. Northwestern:<\/b> Coming off a win over Wisconsin, the Wildcats will host the Northwestern Invitational Friday through Sunday. <\/p>\n
8. Southern California:<\/b> The Trojans put together quality triumphs over Arizona and Arizona State last week. This week, the Speedo Cup is on the agenda. <\/p>\n
9.Georgia:<\/b> The Bulldogs picked up four wins at the Purdue Duals last week. Next up is a meeting with Emory on Friday.<\/p>\n
10. Florida:<\/b> Handed a nine-point defeat by Texas last week, the Gators will return to the pool for a Tuesday meet at Florida State.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
